Years ago, a similar product was made by a natural skin care company, but was "powder paper" that deposited powder, instead of just absorbing oil. Therefore, it gave a "dusty" appearance over make-up. There is also a drugstore brand product which is just rice paper, and doesn't absorb enough, or show you how much oil has been absorbed and where. The sheets are also too big to fit in a tiny carry-along make-up case. The BEST of these products is Clean & Clear by FAR. They absorb facial oil without disturbing make-up or depositing anything on the skin. They also don't dry out your face-- only surface oil is affected. They also show you where the most oil has been absorbed by turning darker blue with the oil, so that you can turn the sheet around to a "fresh" area and thus maximize effectiveness. The sheets are also silky soft and comfortable to use, unlike the crackly papery nature of the products described above. My only complaint is that the sticky pad that helps the sheets pop up tends to stop being sticky after awhile. Just needs a tad stronger glue. I hope they NEVER discontinue this product, as so many women I know swear by it. However, I think the mineral oil in them may contribute to more oil later. I also noticed that my skin looked extra dry after using them... even though I had powder on and the product claims not to disturb makeup. I'm not sure that claim is completely accurate. My mother used them and also said she did not like the way her skin looked afterwards, although the oil was removed. My other complaint is that they bright blue color makes them too indiscreet for quick use in a public place. I will continue looking for a better product. This blotting sheets takes off oil but usually my husband has to use two, wish it did its job in one sheet. Overal pretty good product, better than the Elf $1 blotting sheets.

I don't over-exfoliate, don't use harsh cleansers daily, don't ever forget to moisturize (oil free of course,) don't ever forget sunscreen, and rarely wear makeup. I don't even Own foundation. Even with an all over face primer it won't stay on past 2 or 3 hours. I am always looking for ways to cut the oil. I have used so many brands and types of blotting paper I literally can't remember them all. The Bath and Body are my 2nd favorite, but take more sheets to blot my face clear and I can't seem to find them anymore. Pros Cons Best Uses

You simply press the sheet against your forehead, nose, chin, cheek and like magic, the oils and shine are gone. I have used powder but all that does it apply powder on top of the oil on your skin. The blue sheets remove the oil. One sheet is usually enough provided you reposition unused parts of the sheet over and over on your face. Sometimes I'll need 2. It doesn't remove the makeup, just the oil. awesome! Don't buy the rice paper or tissue paper blotting sheets - they do not work. These sheets are not paper, they're almost like a smooth and thin balloon material but not rubbery or sticky. I know that doesn't sound good, but it works. Also, there is no residue on your face. Ther is no irritation. The sheets are not makeup or powder or gel or crime being applied to your face. The sheet is lifting off the oils from your face. Pros
