When using this product

Skin irritation may occur, characterized by redness, burning, itching, peeling or possibly swelling. Mild irritation may be reduced by using the product less frequently or in a lower concentration. If irritation becomes severe, discontinue use; if irritation still continues, consult a doctor.
Using other topical acne medications at the same time or immediately following use of this product may increase dryness or irritation of the skin. If this occurs, only one medication should be used unless directed by a doctor.

What i decided to do changed my life. I researched a bit and figured out that to get rid of my acne i should: Cleanse, Tone, Moisturize,and occasionally use a treatment. So i did just that, i bought persa gel 10(this), a biore pore minimizing mousturizer, Deep cleansing Oil by DHC(removes makeup), and an expensive soothing apricot toner from elemis. So i used all of them except the persa gel for about a month and so great improvements. When i first got the gel i didnt read the instructions and just slathered it on. I was horrified the next morning, my oilyish face was dry! The next time i used the gel i READ the instructions and applyed a small dab after using my toner before bed. That morning i cleansed ,toned,mostiurized my face and was amazed. My skin looked AMAZING!!!! Ever since then i use a small dab on my problem spots before bed, and most pimple are gone! on the toughys i will apply a small amount more and it might take 2-3 days but it will be all clear! I HIGHLY RECCOMEND THIS TO ANYONE WITH ACNE BECAUSE UNLIKE OTHER PRODUCTS.......IT WORKS!!!

I use this as a spot treatment on my occasional blemishes. They go away in a couple days, but I really don't know if the gel has anything to do with it or if they just go away on their own. I was hoping for more of a drying clear gel that I could put on spots in the morning, but this is a visible, smelly white cream. It isn't terrible, but I won't buy it again.

I suffer from occasional pimples and clogged pores on my t-zone.
Because my skin problems are caused by oily skin, I use this product to dry my skin out. No oil = no clogged pores = no pimples.
I apply a thin layer to my t-zone at night because my skin gets really oily overnight & clogs up my pores further. By using this, I prevent the oiliness at night which prevents clogged pores in the morning. And I wake up with MUCH noticeably smaller pores the following morning.
If I have a pimple or feel one coming out, I apply a THICK layer to the spot overnight. The pimple is usually gone after 1, if not 2 days.
Of course, this product is very drying. So if you have dry skin, ONLY apply it to your problem areas.
I also recommend using this as an overnight treatment, so that in the day time, you can slather on your moisturizers to regain the moisture balance of your skin.

I have tried so many different acne products with no luck over the last 15 years. Clean & Clear Persa-Gel 10 was literally a miracle cream for me. I use it very sparingly only in my breakout areas, and it works beautifully. It doesnt irritate my sensitive skin. I am so grateful to have clear skin now. I hope they never discontinue this product now that I have finally found something that actually works!!!! Thank you Clean & Clear. I am so happy. I just wash with Basis Sensitive Soap and use Theraneem Aloe Gel for a moisturizer and dab a small amount of this gel on my breakout areas.

i have oily skin with the everyday teen acne and i was using Zapzyt but decided to try this. it was working good but never really got rid of the pimple and dried my skin out. then i didnt use it for a week (bad idea) and then i used it and it seamed to make my pimples bigger! but im trying to use it all up so i can get zapzyt again.

I had a few big breakouts on my chin and bought this thinking it might help. It worked okay when I put the smallest amount just on the blemish, but when I decided to spread a little amount over the area, that's when it went down hill. Only after a few days of using, the breakouts that at first were getting better became worse and turned into huge scabs that weren't healing. If you know benzoyl peroxide works for your skin, then this will most likely work for you. I have tried with BP, and now I'm done. Using tea tree & lavender essential oils with aloe vera works much better for me, and doesn't dry out my skin like a mutha! Also... Bye Bye Blemish people!

This product works, it helps to shrink my pimple overnight (not disappear), my pimple is less inflammed. It stings but still bearable & you have to be careful when applying it as it bleaches your clothes.

I actually really like this product. It's not harsh at all on my skin--> unlike other spot treatments I've used this one seems to actually add back some moisture to my skin where it is needed so I really like it.
I have areas on my face where my acne likes to flare up in, so I usually apply this liberally to those areas with clean fingers right before bed, and wash it off in the morning.
I felt like it worked at times, but not all the time, or at a speed that was fast enough...so that's why this product was rated very low. I'm still looking for the product that I can say for sure has improved my skin and gotten rid of my acne, and this is not it.

after washing my face I use witch hazel, then the clear persa-gel 10 every day under any other things .It keeps my face clear with very little brake out if any.
Cleanse the skin thoroughly before applying medication. Cover the entire effected area with a thin layer one to three times daily. If bothersome dryness or peeling occurs, reduce application to once a day.
