Warnings
There are no known contraindications for use of Clear Care®. If you are allergic to any ingredient in this solution, do not use. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use flat lens case. Clear Care® ONLY works with the special lens case provided. Do not remove lenses from case until at least 6 hours later. The solution needs time to neutralize. Do not rinse lenses with Clear Care® prior to inserting lenses into your eyes. If you want to rinse lenses, use a sterile saline like Softwear® Saline. I've been wearing contacts since I was 13 (I'm 30 now) and have always had the problem where as the day wears on they start to get dry and annoying. The light and even air start to bug my eyes. Pretty soon I'm dropping eye drops in my contacts like there's no tomorrow and can't wait til I get the buggers out. Finally tried Clear Care solution like I was told to at my last appointment (almost a year and a half ago - still have the sample bottle- seemed like such a hassle!) and OH MY GOSH! It was like the feeling of brand new contacts every morning! I put mine in the clear care at about 7 or 8pm and then use Sensitive solution (Bausch and Laumb) in the morning at about 5 or 5:30am to put them in so definitely the adequate 6 hours to sit. I also have one day a week where I let my contacts sit in the sensitive eyes solution overnight. I don't have to use eye drops anymore and no longer rush to get my contacts out after work!! How crazy is it that a solution would change that? It actually feels good to wear contacts!

This product is somewhat similar to Aosept; you MUST use the special cup and disc with the solution to neutralize it. If you soak or rinse your lenses with this and then insert, you're putting hydrogen peroxide in your eye and it will burn like hell. The instructions on this site should stress that a special lens cup with disc must be used - otherwise people will think it's similar to the clean/store/rinse solutions, which are totally different.

I wear soft contact lenses for two week wear. I have tried using a multipurpose solution that allows for less time in between uses and longer lasting solution, but it worked miserably. Unlike multipurpose solutions, this one really does remove protein deposits and leaves the lense feeling clean and comfortable. It is the only cleaning solution that I use now. I also use an additional buildup removal enzyme once a week to extend the lense life to a full month.

This product was a lifesaver! My eyes were red and swollen with all other cleaners. Great for allergies! Warning....do not use solution straight out of bottle. Can burn eyes!

Really like this product - better than Aosept - seems to have better wetting agent and less irritation. Lens are more comfortable when you first put them in the eye!

I wear 2 week disposable lenses and this solution is by far the best solution!! Cleans lenses well and removes buildup so there is no irritation. A friend recommended this to me and I'll now never use another solution.

After wearing RigidGasPermeable lenses for 39 YEARS,,,,,,,, (literally, I got them when I was 12 y.o. & my mom had to sign a release form because I was too young but could not see with glasses) I was horrified that he thought it was time for me to change to soft lenses. HOWEVER, I did and I can see and this product has a spectial lens case to put your lense in at bedtime. A SPECIAL liquid to put in the case and the next a.m. RINSE the lense with SALINE!!! The next morning it feels like you just be in a NEW contact. Wear them ALL day and NEVER feel dry or NEVER feel like you are dying to have to take them out. WONDERFUL CONTACT SOLUTION ALL SOFT CONTACT WEARERS SHOULD CHECK WITH THEIR PHYSICIANS TO SEE IF THEY CAN USE CLEAR CARE !!!

I am the kind of person that constantly tries new products looking for the best one out there. Of the ones I've tried, maybe 6 or so, this one is the best. My contacts are more comfortable for the entire day, they are less blurry toward the end of the 2 weeks time than with other solutions. Yes, it's kind of a hassle since you have to wait 6 hours, but it's normally not an issue. If I want to take them out for a nap, I just store it in the CIba Auqify (which is the best saline solution I've used). Give this solution a try and you'll never use anything else again.

I needed travel size solution for my purse.. seen this product... read the front of all the boxes.. was like ok.. the same as re-nu.. ill try it.. i needed it this morning, washed my contact with it.. and put it right in my eye.. to say the least it felt like my contact was fused to my eye.. i flushed and flushed with water but still felt like my contact was in my eye. The package says nothing on the front about it being 6 hr solution. this needs to be changed.. im glad my kids didn't use this first!

My contacts tend to get cloudy with protein residue. I used to use Opti-Free, which is supposedly a "no rub" cleaner, but even if I did rub the lenses, they got cloudy. With Clear care, I never have to rub, and I don't have to replace the contacts so often. And my eyes don't get irritated.
The solution contains hydrogen peroxide. The storage jar includes a disk that causes the solution to fizz. The peroxide disinfects, and the bubbles do the cleaning. A new storage vial is included with each bottle.
One disadvantage: The solution takes six hours to neutralize -- so if you put the lenses in to soak and then want to use them again a little while later, you can't. So if you just need to store your lenses for a few hours, use saline or a non-peroxide solution.
To ensure proper disinfection of your lenses you must follow the instructions completely. Do not skip any steps. Always wash and rinse your hands before handling your lenses. See package insert for special RGP instructions
Remove and place each lens into the appropriately marked L/R domed lens holder. rinse with Clear Care® for 5 seconds.
Fill the lens case with Clear Care® to fill line and place the lens holder in the case.
Tighten the cap and store lenses overnight for at least for six (6) hours or overnight. Do not shake the case.
Your lenses are ready to wear after soaking for 6 hours. No final saline rinse is necessary. Do not rinse with Clear Care® prior to inserting lenses into your eyes. If you want to rinse lenses, use a sterile saline like Softwear® Saline.
Your eye care professional may recommend additional products or procedures to care for your lenses based on individual tear chemistry and lens wearing schedule. Always follow your eye care professional's instructions. See package insert printed on inside of carton for important safety and other information. Store at room temperature.
