Warnings
There are no known contraindications for use of Clear Care®. If you are allergic to any ingredient in this solution, do not use. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use flat lens case. Clear Care® ONLY works with the special lens case provided. Do not remove lenses from case until at least 6 hours later. The solution needs time to neutralize. Do not rinse lenses with Clear Care® prior to inserting lenses into your eyes. If you want to rinse lenses, use a sterile saline like Softwear® Saline. Do not squirt Clear Care® directly into your eyes.

This is the best stuff ever. My friend used it, and I thought I'd give it a try. This product works fabulously. I guess it could be a problem for you if you can't read, or don't read the instructions and just stick this in your eye. It is NOT saline solution. It doesn't say anywhere on the package that it is saline solution. It's totally safe for your eyes (when used as directed) and recommended by my ophthalmologist who is an M.D. It is hydrogen peroxide, so of course it can't go directly in your eye, but after 6 hours the neutralizing disk neutralizes the hydrogen peroxide and it's completely fine to go in your eye at that time. That why there is big red warnings all over not to put the raw solution directly in your eye, but unfortunately not all people read which is why there are the few negative reviews. This is the best contact lens cleaner I've ever found! I love it and will never go back to the other stuff.

Based on the reviews here I can only assume I am allergic to something in this solution or I got a bad case that didn't neutralize the solution because I had a horrible experience. I read the directions throughly & let them sit in the solution overnight (close to 9 hrs) & did NOT rinse my contacts with this solution before I put them in my eyes, but it still burn & stung so badly I just about screamed. 12 hrs later and it still stings & my eye is extremely red. I apparently have chemical conjunctivitis (chemical burn) as a result and for that reason I don't recommend this product & am warning everyone I know not to use it.

clear care lens cleaner does just what it says it will. My doctor recommended it after I got a severe allergic reaction from using Opti-free. Almost lost my vision.I will always purchase Clear Care and nothing else I'm very please - great product!

I wear monthly contact lenses and my doctor gave me Opti-Free Refresh Multipurpose Cleanser to clean my lenses. After about 1 month, I developed a terrible allergic reaction to it. The whites of my eyes were completely blood shot. I decided to try this cleansing solution, and boy what a difference! My eyes are back to normal. No allergic reaction at all to this stuff. It even makes my lenses cleaner than my old mutipurpose stuff which just had too many chemicals in it. This is a simple yet effective way to clean your lenses if you are having trouble with the multipurpose solutions. Give this one a try!

After 3 content lens fitting last year, my doctor and i finally found the perfect solution and contact pairing for my eyes. I havent looked back since. I stare at a computer all day and wear eye makeup diligently, so dry eyes were really starting to interfere with my lifestyle. Clear Care is amazingly hydrating. it feels like i'm putting in a new pair of contacts every morning! The only inconvenience is the 6 hour wait time. I've found that if you know you wont have the full 6 hours, you can keep the solution leftover from the night before. I tend to do this on my last night of vacations when i have an early flight. Otherwise i carry a small bottle of another solution with me. I've already recommended this to family, friends, boyfriends of friends - everyone comes back adn says it was just what they were looking for!

I have been using this about a week to 10 days. I have followed the instructions EXACTLY and at first had no problems. Then, this morning I put in one contact after storing my contacts in the solution overnight (approximately 10 hours)--again, after following the instructions step-by-step. I put one contact in and after about 2 seconds, I felt like my eye was on FIRE. It was EXTREMELY painful. My eye didn't hurt that bad when I scratched my cornea once. I dropped my other contact (losing it, thanks a lot, Clear Care) and couldn't get the contact out fast enough. I rinsed my eye with saline and water. It was red for some time afterwards. I still haven't tried putting fresh contacts in, so I can only hope my eye isn't still irritated when I do. As far as I'm concerned, any product that can cause this kind of pain, even when the instructions have been followed meticulously, should not be used at all.

I work in a new, climate-controlled building with ventilation issues. In addition, I am on meds which have dry eyes as a side-effect. My eyes responded with chronic dryness, infections, and discomfort with my soft lenses. My doctor intended to prescribe Restasis, but suggested I try Clear Care first. The results were dramatic. No Restasis has been necessary, and my last eye infection has been almost a year ago. Just follow the directions carefully.

To ensure proper disinfection of your lenses you must follow the instructions completely. Do not skip any steps. Always wash and rinse your hands before handling your lenses. See package insert for special RGP instructions
Remove and place each lens into the appropriately marked L/R domed lens holder. rinse with Clear Care® for 5 seconds.
Fill the lens case with Clear Care® to fill line and place the lens holder in the case.
Tighten the cap and store lenses overnight for at least for six (6) hours or overnight. Do not shake the case.
Your lenses are ready to wear after soaking for 6 hours. No final saline rinse is necessary. Do not rinse with Clear Care® prior to inserting lenses into your eyes. If you want to rinse lenses, use a sterile saline like Softwear® Saline.
Your eye care professional may recommend additional products or procedures to care for your lenses based on individual tear chemistry and lens wearing schedule. Always follow your eye care professional's instructions. See package insert printed on inside of carton for important safety and other information. Store at room temperature.
