I'm 19 and I have normal skin. I figured I would buy this because it was cheap and I was on a budget so I couldn't afford to buy my usual face wash that was $7. I tried it out and thought it smelled kinda weird. Not bad, but not pleasing either. After I rinsed my face, it felt smooth and clean. I thought it worked great! Nope I was wrong. After I dried my face, I realized my skin was VERY dry and tight. Mostly in my t-zone. It was awful. My face felt like rough sandpaper and not even moisturizer helped it. I refused to continue the use so I switched back to my old facial scrub. Now, I've used plenty of different brands of face wash and never had a bad reaction except for this one.

This is the best cleansing scrub I have ever used. It lathers up nicely, doesn't irritate my skin, cleans deep into my pores (where other cleansers claim to but never really do)and the fragrance is so refreshing and soothing. I was worried about it being discontinued because the stores I normally buy it from no longer carry it, replacing it with the Clearasil Daily Facial Wash (which I tried and it doesn't work nearly as great as the scrub). So happy to find it here. I will stick with this cleanser forever!

works well but can be slightly harsh, make sure to follow up with moisturizer because it is worth using.

This product has very small, sand-like grains that are perfect for exfoliating the face. It leaves my skin feeling very soft and smooth with a fine texture, and it reduces the redness and frequency of acne bumps. The only problem I have with it is that it tends to dry out my skin, especially around the nose and mouth. However, this drying and flaking effect goes away after you go through about an entire bottle (I use it twice a day) as the skin adjusts to the salicylic acid. By the time I had worked my way through the first bottle and was into my second, I had virtually no flaking. This really isn't a problem for me, because the flaking effect at the beginning means it's working (salicylic acid works by increasing the shedding rate of your skin.) You should use a moisturizer with this product.

This is actually a very good scrub. No offensive smell, does not dry my skin, and helps reduce blackheads. The "grains" are also very comfortable; no obvious damage to the skin. The cost is also right. The only thing I don't care for is the way that the product is dispensed. When you click open the cap, the product runs out, causing waste and mess. A little better design would make this scrub 5 stars.

I use the Skin Perfecing wash along with this and I really like the two together. I like the fact that it has Salicylic Acid in it because it helps cleanse and fight acne. It doesn't dry my skin out at all. It lathers very well. Its gentle. Helps reduce oil production. I wouldnt recommend this product to anyone with sensitive skin. Its great for oily acne prone skin. Bottome line, great product!!!
