LOVE THIS STUFF! I'm deployed in Afghanistan right now and since I've been here I've broken out with acne like a teenage girl. The weather and water has taken a toll on my skin. When I read the reviews on this product I was skeptical at first but I gave it a shot and I'm so glad I did! Best way that works for me is during the night. I rub a little bit on my pimples (even after popping some) and then I dab some more on top of them without rubbing it in and go to sleep. When I wake up they're either completely gone or they've shrunk in size dramatically. Either way I'm super happy because I was worried this acne problem out here was going to pester me for the rest of the deployment. Thanks Clearasil!!

I'm in my late 20s and have occasional, yet stubborn breakouts. This product is awesome and I use it for spot treatment. I don't really notice a difference after 4 hours, sadly - but I do if I leave it on overnight. It visibly shrinks the zit and lessens the redness - and I've had some big ones that looked almost gone after using this. I think as your skin and body rests whiles you sleep, it helps the healing process of the acne.

I've been using this product for several years and I recommend using it one of two ways:

1. Just dab on a decent amount to cover the zit/pimple - don't rub it in. Or...

2. Rub in a little of the product into the pimple, then dab on a bit more and let it sit on top of the skin.

I personally don't have any problems with my skin being overly dry after using this product, so I'm not afraid to use the doubling up method of rubbing a bit in, then putting a bit more on and letting it sit on the skin.

Try and see which works best for you, but always try and use this as an overnight treatment if you're not seeing any improvement when using it for the 4 hours.

So glad I found this product! I've used other benzoyl peroxide products but for some reason this one works a million times better! The only time I have a breakout anymore is usually when it's "that time of the month," and it clears up much faster with this stuff than anything else. The only downside is that it makes my face a little red. If you only have acne in certain areas I would recommend just using this product in those areas and using something a little milder for the rest of your face to avoid a lot of irritation.

I have moderate adult acne. I have tried using this product numerous times, and it has not once worked for me. All it did was dry out my skin. It did not get rid of the pimples, or even reduce the redness or size. I usually applied the cream at night, and the next morning I woke up exactly the same except with much drier skin. I'm sure this product works for some people, but it did not work at all for me.

This is the best stuff and it actually reduces the size and redness of the pimple in 4 hours! Perfect for teens who need to get rid of that pimple before school.

I put this product on my chin over night, since I get all my acne there. When I woke up, my chin was severely dry, itchy, and uncomfortable. Sure it got rid of the acne, but I'm left with terrible skin a few days before school picture day. Don't buy it.

this produst seemed fine at first, i got the tinted one which once you put on didn't really act like foundation. it pretty much went on clear even though it looks very tinted. it burned only a little. i only used it on 3 spots on my chin no where else on my face, and after a day went by it looked okay. so on the 3rd day i put some on in the morning then later washed it off to go swimming because it said to avoid sun with it on or something like that. anyway i was in the sun for an hour and 15 minutes and i got home took a shower dryed my face off and was like OMG whats wrong with my chin..it was SOOOOOO rough like embarassing rough and really really red. please note i do not have sensitive skin at all so for this to happen to me you know it is very strong. i'm going on my 3rd day of dryness and i'm extremly upset about it.

This works great for my occasional breakout. I have been putting it on areas more prone to breakouts just to prevent even getting a breakout and I swear I haven't had a single blemish since I started using it. It does dry out the skin as all acne treatments seem to do, but I use a moisturizer with it and haven't had any troubles.
