These sticks were rated the highest via Consumer Reports. They work great. Just remember you have to hold them in your urine stream (or place in cup) for about 5 seconds. Less than that and the test may not have absorbed enough urine to work. You'll know that is the case as the test window will remain completely blank. These work great! They are not that tricky to read, just have to pay attention and give them enough time to work. Not sure why so many people have problems with this.

I've tried it two months in a row and no LH surge has ever been detected, despite other symptoms of ovulation being present. The control line always shows up clearly and I always do the test first thing in the morning (as the directions suggest). I even tried using the sticks an extra 2 days with left over sticks a friend gave me (obviously the test worked for her). If there's a possibility I may need to do the test twice a day in order to detect a surge, it would be FANTASTIC if the directions indicated a suggestion to that effect. Needless to say, I'm irritated.

I used this for the first time this morning and wasn't impressed. The lines were light and hard to tell if they were the same shade or one was darker than the other.

We finally spent the money for this product after trying for 4 months, using only my own calculations around my cycle. Boy was I wrong apparently, because I used one stick and am now pregnant! Good luck.

We used 4 of the sticks from this box (2 one month and 2 a second month) and are now pregnant. The only con is that the line is a bit difficult to read, it doesn't get a much darker color when ovulating.
