They work great. Just remember you have to hold them in your urine stream (or place in cup) for about 5 seconds. Less than that and the test may not have absorbed enough urine to work. You'll know that is the case as the test window will remain completely blank. These work great! They are not that tricky to read, just have to pay attention and give them enough time to work. Not sure why so many people have problems with this. The control line always shows up clearly and I always do the test first thing in the morning (as the directions suggest). I even tried using the sticks an extra 2 days with left over sticks a friend gave me (obviously the test worked for her). If there's a possibility I may need to do the test twice a day in order to detect a surge, it would be FANTASTIC if the directions indicated a suggestion to that effect.
