(Once the first response test stick holder detects a surge you can't use it again). I was testing 3x a day and the clear blue never detected a surge. I started using the First Response 2x a day and the clear blue 1x per day and the First Response detected my surge and the clear blue still didn't detect it. I'd recommend using the First Response. Cons Best Uses Comments about Clearblue Easy Ovulation Test, Digital, 20 ea: So much easier then the ovulation predictors where you have to read lines. This was straight-forward, fast, and accurate. Great price on drugstore.com too. The sticks are individually wrapped so after you detect ovulation you can save the remainder sticks for the next month. Pros

Comments about Clearblue Easy Ovulation Test, Digital, 20 ea: The results are accurate as I am also seeing a fertility specialist and go in for cycle diagnostic to check when and if I am ovulating. Every time I have gotten a smiley face using this OPK my ultrasound and bloodwork have also confirmed ovulation. I like it because it's very easy to use and I love the fact a smiley or sad face appears as reading the lines can sometimes be difficult. Pros

Comments about Clearblue Easy Ovulation Test, Digital, 20 ea: I have been using these each morning to test for ovulation when TTC. Aside from the 3 minute wait window, this is a great and easy to use product. It is easy to get an error sometimes if you don't put it down immediately but after you do that once, you will know what you did wrong. I understand needing to wait for the 3 minutes, but to remember to check it within a certain time window otherwise the results show as blank and go away makes it harder to include in my morning routine sometimes. Comments about Clearblue Easy Ovulation Test, Digital, 20 ea: I purchased this because I had a miscarriage and wanted to make sure that this time, the timing was right and that I would have a healthy pregnancy. The test is very accurate but it takes a while to get the results; about 8 minutes or so. I just want to see the results right away, especially when I wake up in the morning still tired and want to go back to sleep. By the time I wait 8 minutes, I might as well stay up. But other than that, I am pregnant, so it did work. Pros

Comments about Clearblue Easy Ovulation Test, Digital, 20 ea: My husband and I tried to conceive for five months without success using the calendar method to guess when I was ovulating (we're in our late 20s). I went to the gyno for an annual appointment and to get her advice, and she recommended an ovulation test kit. We hadn't bought one before, because we figured it would be easy to get pregnant, and they aren't exactly cheap. I chose this one because of the unmistakable results. The second month (cycle) we used it, we got pregnant! It turns out I was ovulating later in the month than I thought, and we were missing the window every month. The smilley face that signifies the luteinizing hormone surge (which means you're about to ovulate) is so happy and clear. No second-guessing lines or symbols here. I used the container method, urinating in a small paper cup and dipping the test stick in it. This is much easier than trying to pee on the stick itself for the exact right amount of time. We are so excited about our little one on the way, and can't recommend these tests enough, as they are the reason we're expecting! Pros

Comments about Clearblue Easy Ovulation Test, Digital, 20 ea: This ovulation predictor kit was very easy to use and worked for us the first month. I'm currently 4 weeks pregnant! It takes all of the guess work out of reading those dang lines on the non-digital opk tests, which I always had a tough time interpreting. I will definitely recommend this product to any of my friends trying to conceive. I think it was worth the money spent. Also, as a word of advice, I tested 2 times a day that way I could try detect my LH surge. Good luck and tons of baby dust!! |
