It gets me through the fairly vigorous 1-hour class with plenty of energy and no hunger pangs. I like the ones that aren't too sweet: Crunchy Peanut Butter-18g, Banana Nut Bread-21g, Black Cherry Almond-21g. I used to like Carrot Cake and Apricot, but now I find those to be way too sweet, although they also are listed at 21g (weird, huh?). I was a bit worried that Maple Nut might be too sweet, but since it has 20g sugar, I decided to try it, and I'm glad. The real maple syrup and pecan flavor comes through. Bits of soft praline (like you'd get in New Orleans) balance well with the Clif Bar base. You get just a touch of natural sweetness. The nut-based Clif Bar varieties are definitely my favorites. I always take these when I fly somewhere, in case of airport delays. They are also okay for a light dinner replacement if you're in a rush. VS Most Liked Negative Review Too sweet Sorry that I bought 12 of these based on the other six five-star reviews. They're edible, but I much prefer other Clif bars to these. Comments about Clif Bar Energy Bars, Maple Nut, 12 ea: I'm one of those 5-6 "small" meal a day type of guys. I'll use a cliff bar as a small meal replacement bar from time to time. I wish they had a low sugar version!!...but the Maple Nut is my favorite by FAR!! The oatmeal raisen is right up there.

Comments about Clif Bar Energy Bars, Maple Nut, 12 ea: The Maple Nut flavor closely resembles the flavor of a maple nut doughnut, but 10x healthier for you. So, not only do I find myself nonching on these for a quick breakfast on the go, or before a run, but I'll tear off a piece for a mildly sweet dessert. Yum!
