Unfortunately, this colorant leaves blue stains on any part of the toilet that does not receive a regular flush with water, and the blue is almost impossible to remove if allowed to dry. I preferred the "drop in the tank" ones, but my new toilet has a note in the tank that doesn't recommend them. I miss them.
