Remove old batteries and replace with new batteries. Be sure to insert batteries correctly with adult supervision and always follow the toy and battery manufacturer's instructions. Do not mix old and new batteries. Do not mix alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc), or rechargeable (nickel-cadmium) batteries. Rechargeable batteries must be removed from toy before being recharged. Non-rechargeable batteries are not to be recharged. Rechargeable batteries are to be charged only under adult supervision. Use AA batteries (1.5v) or equivalent only. Do not short-circuit battery terminals. Always remove weak or dead batteries from product. Remove batteries if product will be stored for an extended period of time. If sound box stops working or volume decreases, replace batteries by using a small Phillips screwdriver to remove the screw on the battery door. Open the door and remove the dead batteries. Be sure to insert the new batteries correctly according to (+) and (-) symbols located on the battery compartment. Snap the door back into place and retighten the small Phillips screw. Batteries provided are for display use only.
Warning: Battery acid leakage can cause personal injury and cause damage to your Cloud B product and surrounding property. If battery leakage occurs, thoroughly wash any affected skin, making sure to keep battery acid away from eyes, ears, nose and mouth. Immediately wash any clothing or other surface that comes into contact with leaked battery acid. Leaking batteries may make "popping" sounds.

I got this at a great price, and I am happy with it, to a point. It's very cute and soft. It is fantastic for helping my 7 month old fall asleep, but it has a 45 minute timer, which is actually about the worst amount of time since infant sleep cycles are about 45 minutes. When she's napping I tiptoe in and turn it back on, so she'll sleep 90 minutes to 2 hours, rather than before we got it when she was sleeping 30-45 minutes. So for that, worth every penny. It's pretty useless overnight though. When she wakes up it is off and she's unable to soothe herself back to sleep. For that I might need to buy something else that doesn't shut off at all, in which case I've wasted money on the sheep. I intend to give it a week or two before I get something else. So recommended, with reservations.
The best gift I've found for a shower or baby gift. Gave this to my youngest granddaughter on the day she was born. I only wish I had discovered this product before the first grandchild was born.

First of all, this item was shipped very quickly from Drugstore. com. It arrived well packaged. This item was a gift and the recipient just loved it and loves how it helps Baby to sleep better. I would recommend this purchase.
Most babies need white noise to help them sleep. During the day, I turn on the tv or vacuum cleaner, but at night we use the rainfall or waves on the Sleep Sheep. My daughter starts falling asleep within minutes. I've been using it since she was 3 weeks old (she's 6 weeks now). In addition, my husband and I tested it out and we slept great! Finally, I loved that it came with batteries, so we could use it right away. I highly recommend for all new parents.
Since this is a gift for someone and I have not yet given it to them, I don't really know how they will like it. But I do know that I wish I had something like this when my own children (who are adults now) were babies. I feel it will be really great to help a baby sleep and very comforting too.
I have bought this lamb for both of my grandchildren one for their house and one for mine! They both love to fall asleep to it at night and have since they were infants. My almost 4 year old grandson spent the night recently and had me turn it on so it sounded like it was raining, which is their favorite sound! I will continue to buy these as baby gifts for friends!!
