Remove old batteries and replace with new batteries. Be sure to insert batteries correctly with adult supervision and always follow the toy and battery manufacturer's instructions. Do not mix old and new batteries. Do not mix alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc), or rechargeable (nickel-cadmium) batteries. Rechargeable batteries must be removed from toy before being recharged. Non-rechargeable batteries are not to be recharged. Rechargeable batteries are to be charged only under adult supervision. Use AA batteries (1.5v) or equivalent only. Do not short-circuit battery terminals. Always remove weak or dead batteries from product. Remove batteries if product will be stored for an extended period of time. If sound box stops working or volume decreases, replace batteries by using a small Phillips screwdriver to remove the screw on the battery door. Open the door and remove the dead batteries. Be sure to insert the new batteries correctly according to (+) and (-) symbols located on the battery compartment. Snap the door back into place and retighten the small Phillips screw. Batteries provided are for display use only.
Warning: Battery acid leakage can cause personal injury and cause damage to your Cloud B product and surrounding property. If battery leakage occurs, thoroughly wash any affected skin, making sure to keep battery acid away from eyes, ears, nose and mouth. Immediately wash any clothing or other surface that comes into contact with leaked battery acid. Leaking batteries may make "popping" sounds.

The ladybug nightlight is very attractive. The hard shell is colored to look more like a real, natural ladybug, rather than a chintzy, cutesy cartoon ladybug, making it more appropriate for many settings. While the ladybug is cute, it is not cartoonish, which I feel makes it more versatile in use. It is the type of quality I would expect to see in a nature center. The picture really doesn't do it justice, as it is much cuter. It is NOT designed to be a cuddly buddy, but a nightlight that glows softly. It is very soothing. The stars do not move or change color, which is especially good for a sick child who might become nauseated at the movement. The buttons are easy to find and turn on, even in the dark, for "scary dream emergencies" or bathroom breaks. This provides an advantage to other nightlights because it can be set on the bed next to the child or on a night stand. Even if the ladybug falls off, no damage is done. The light can be switched to display blue, red or green. The hard shell is smooth to the touch and the fabric of the ladybug is soft to the touch, making it completely friendly to fumbling hands in the dark. I do hope the company comes out with additional designs, perhaps a lightening bug or something

I bought this as a gift, for my niece who is expecting her first child and decorating the baby's rom in primary colors. This ladybug has an ugly dark red plastic shell with huge black dots. The rest of the toy is soft plush, but the shell is very unattractive. The stars on the ceiling are nice, though.
Bought one for 2 year old granddaughter's birthday. She and her 4 year old sister fought over it every night. The 4 year old is now 5 and has one of her own. No more fighting.
I bought from drugstore.com because I wanted the ladybug with the "black" head. There are two kinds on the market, a "light gray" head and a "black" head. Because of the picture on the website I thought I was getting the darker one which was more "ladybuggish" to me but received the gray. Not a big deal I suppose or enough for me to not buy from here again but the picture implies something else and they really need to change it. The product itself is very, very cute, works well and the batteries last a long time. I would definitely recommend it to someone else as long as color doesn't bother you.
I just saw this at [...] for [$]!...Drugstore.com really has a fantastic price on this Twilight Ladybug. This is very soft plush with the exception of the attractive shell, which is firm, sturdy plastic. My 3 and 5 year old girls love their ladybug and turtle. The new ladybug shines a bit brighter and can be pushed on/off from the button on the top of shell, vs. our older turtle which the light sometimes seems a bit dim and to turn it off before it's 45 min, you have to reset the switch under the velcro compartment on the belly. So potentially improvements over the last several years. The ladybug also shines a cresent moon on the ceiling, which our older turtle does not. The colors it shines are RED, BLUE and GREEN. All very nice and soothing. I can't recommend these Twilights enough, especially at this drugstore.com price!!!
I bought this for my 2-year-old daughter and she absolutely loves it! I gave it to her a half-hour before bedtime and she couldn't stop yelling, "Star! Moon!" She was so excited. She also couldn't wait to go to bed and take this ladybug with her. Great purchase.
