Indications
Uses: relieves occasional constipation (irregularity) and generally produces bowel movement in 12 to 72 hours.
Warnings
Do not use:
laxative products for longer than a week unless told to do so by a doctor.
if you are presently taking mineral oil, unless told to do so by a doctor.
Ask a doctor before use if you have:
stomach pain
nausea
vomiting
noticed a sudden change in bowel habits that lasts over 2 weeks.
Stop use and ask a doctor if you have rectal bleeding or fail to have a bowel movement after use of a laxative. These could be signs of a serious condition.
If pregnant or breast-feeding, ask a health professional before use. Keep this and all medication out of the reach of children. In case of overdose, get medical help or contact a Poison Control Center right away.
Do not use if imprinted seal under cap is missing or damaged.

first things first constipation is a horrible thing.mine was so bad that i could not even walk sit or stand. i was in severe pain and was very uncomfortable. colace saved me. i took three gel tabs with a hot cup of tea. i felt so much better after having used this product. i would recommend this product to any one who has difficulty using the rest room.

My personal Physician recommended this product and it was a lifesaver. I take a pain medication and it tends to cause constipation. I told my doctor about my problem and she immeediately recommended Colace.... She said it has fiber, rather than just a stimulant like exlax which I was using. It's a little expensive but worth every penny. I'm normal again! worth every penny. I'm normal again!
Take one (1) in the morning and evening. WONDERFUL PRODUCT
While in the hospital for heart surgery, I was given Colace to counter the side effects of the pain medication. Have been using it daily (1 gelcap) and have had no side effects.

I HAVE HAD PROBLEMS FOR MOST OF MY ADULT LIFE...WITH RESPECT TO STOMACH AND COLON. LOTS OF CONSTIPATION! I FIND THAT BY TAKING 2 OF THESE PER NIGHT, HELPS TO KEEP ME FROM HAVING A BAD ATTACK OF PAIN FROM THIS CONSTIPATION BECAUSE IT SOFTENS AND MAKES THE WHOLE PROCESS EASIER. NOT CHEAP...BUT IT'S WORTH IT...IN MY OPINION!
