I have used this twice a week for many years. After I had gum surgery and exposed roots I needed a fluoride rinse. The first ones made my teeth yellow, so my dentist suggested Phos-Flur. Thank goodness that in those days I could find the non-mint kind, because mint always burns my mouth. I use either bubble gum, which has a very mild taste, or cherry -- but the only place I can find it is a Drugstores.com. Thank goodness they keep it in stock! It has been over 25 years since my surgery -- and no root cavities yet. My dentist says Phos-Flur coupled with good dental hygiene has protected me well.
They do not sell this in the drugstores -- they only carry the mint kind that burns my mouth; therefore, you must order it online. This has effectively prevented my exposed roots from getting cavities for over 25 years.
I have very sensitive teeth and don't like the mint rinse, so this is great! My local stores have stopped carrying all but mint, too! Glad to still find it somewhere. And I also ordered the grape for the first time, which I like, too.
