I have used other "sensitive" toothpastes which come highly recommended by dentists; however, I do not like the taste or clean teeth feeling with those other products. I use to have sensitive teeth especially after having my braces. This product helped eliminate sensitivity over time. I love it and can't go without it anymore. I noticed when I ran out and went back to another brand my teeth became sensitive again after a few weeks. I hope this stuff never goes away.

My teeth are noticeably whiter after using this! I used to use the whitening toothpastes that seem to be oh-so-popular these days, but they were too abrasive and caused my gums and teeth to become really sensitive. They didn't used to be! So I switched to this, hoping to remedy the sensitivity. And it did! Plus my teeth are just as white.

After having my oral hygienist tell me to stay clear of whitening toothpastes as those would exacerbate my teeth's sensitivity, I was surprised to find a product that promised to do both. I used it for two months. Results: whiter teeth and no sensitivity. And I am somebody who has trouble eating ice cream or very hot things, sometimes even sweet things. Since using Colgate Sensitive Maximum Strength Whitening Toothpaste, I like my smile again, and I like ice cream too. One thing to be mindful of is the active ingredient with a high amount of potassium. I recently had blood work done and everything was fine except that my potassium was slightly elevated. The doctor said it may be a side effect of the blood drawing technique. It is, however, something to consider if you are somebody who has to watch their potassium levels. I'll probably bring the toothpaste to my next doctor's appointment to ask him if using this toothpaste could be the reason for the potassium levels in my blood and if it's something to cycle off from periodically to avoid accumulation in the blood.
I chose the parent tag, but I don't let my kids use this toothpaste. They use a Crest toothpaste for kids over 8 years old that is perfect in flavor and texture and results for them. (3 boys under 12).

I use this toothpaste twice a day, every day!
I love it, because my teeth are pretty sensitive to harsh toothpastes, and this works perfectly, while adding some whitening without hurting the next day!

I'd been using a "cheap", bargain-store brand and had begun to shed skin inside my mouth and lips. I thot it was a nutritional problem, but my dental office suggested it was the toothpaste I was using. I changed to Colgate and VOILE!, things began improving. No more problems.
