I have a lot of fine, curly hair and the brush attachment worked to straighten it the first time I bought it. After that, it was worthless because the brush attachment kept falling off the blow dryer. In other words, the brush fell off the dryer every time I tried to pull it through my hair. This was caused by the heat of the device expanding the plastic on the clamps of the attachment so that it no longer gripped the dryer. I went back to the store and they kindly gave me a replacement, but the same problem occurred. I phoned Conair and they suggested I put the brush attachment in the refrigerator (I kid you not) while it was still warm so that the cold would shrink the clamps back to proper size. This did not work. They then offered to send me a replacement dryer. I explained that I had already tried that. I asked for a refund. They gave me the runaround for quite some time and then phoned me back to say that all they could do was offer me a replacement. I will not buy another Conair product again.

I bought an extra styling comb since this is the attachment I use most often and the one that will tend to dry out and lose teeth. Look forward to years of service from this hair dryer.

The attachments do not stay on and they break very easily. It's louder than my vacuum cleaner and very heavy.

Good blow dryer! Heats up fast and dries my very thick hair quickly. Cool shot of air is very useful. You must exercise caution because it works so quickly you could over-dry your hair.

The brush does not stay on once the dryer heats up, maybe 5 seconds at most. My hair definitely dries straighter and less frizzy, but I don't use the combs so I am returning it for another brand.

good product because it dries your hair quickly. its a little heavy and difficult to use just 1 hand to ioperate it and get the style you want. i would recommend it but you still need to use a flat iron afterwards to get your hair really straight

I've used this hairdryer - Conair with the brush and comb attachments - since 1973. They used to be advertised "for men" but I couldn't figure out why women shouldn't use it too, so I bought one, and I am still buying them, 27 years later. I've had thick hair, curly hair that I could straighten with this dryer and a comb attachment, long hair, medium length hair, colored hair, short hair...now I'm older and it's short and not as thick as it once was but it's still wavy and needs to be dried or it's out of control:-- and in 5 minutes with this dryer and the comb attachment, my hair is DONE. I don't know what I'd do without this hair dryer/styler, and I don't plan on finding out, I've stocked up on 5 more, for all the years to come.

I've used a variety of these conair styler/dryers for the last 10+ years. I recently decided to upgrade to the ionic version and boy was I disappointed. The brush attachment is very poorly made and does not stay on the dryer at all. After 4-5 brush strokes, the brush falls off! The plastic is not thick enough, so when it heats up it softens and falls off the hair dryer. [...] they gave me a replacement. The replacement had the same problem! [...]

Dries hair very quickly, even on the low setting. The combs and brush interchange easily. Very easy to handle and dry and style hair. Great dryer for the money.
