My dog chewed one of my Metropolis round brushes one weekend so I decided to replace it with one of the Conair Gel Grips Large Round hair bushes. This Conair brush is the worst hair brush that I have ever experienced. I have beautiful, shiny, fine, very easy to deal with hair. This miserable hair brush managed to burn and break my hair. I am appalled at how awful this product is. I have always bought other Conair styling tools, like hair dryers, and irons, however after this experience, I will never use or recommend any of the Conair products ever again.

The brush is very easy to use and light in weight. As such i don't feel there are any cons for this brush. The only issue arises with the handle. If u place just enough hair on the bristles then no issue of hair getting caught in the gel grip. Its a matter of practice. But otherwise i really love the brush as it gives me the voluminous look to my hair.

The ends of the brush has a gap which the hair gets stuck and ends up pulling your hair out with each brushing. I stopped using it and now is in the trash.

I like the idea of a soft handle, but the gel soft grip handle holds on to hair. It's almost like it's sticky and attracts hair, especially with static electricity in the air. If you can keep your hair away from the handle, the brush part works really well. The handle is soft and easy to hold, but once your hair comes into contact with the handle, watch out. Ouch!
