My hair's pretty agreeable, but I need an inexpensize comb to help my get my part even sometimes. My hair's thick & wavy, and I don't know how it works for other hair types. This works great if you just need it to separate hair for braiding, putting it in a more complex style of ponytail or parting it when a brush doesn't get the job done.

I buy these tail combs to put in each of my purses to keep my hair styled while out and about. Thought the red color was very pretty and stood out. I also this one was supposed to be of premium quality from the description. But soon after purchase the logo writing on the comb wore off making it look very cheap. Then the comb broke--maybe it's the brittle tourmaline construction. Anyhow, I'm happy with my scunci combs which are durable and last forever.

I use this comb to part my hair for roller sets. It gives a clean separation without much effort. It is extremely gentle on my relaxed african (ethnic) hair. Absolutely no breakage or other type damage to my hair.
Ladies out there with my hair type, you will love this comb.
I will be buying another to keep permanently in my traved bag. Thanks Conair for inventing such a great product.

I really wanted this to tease my roots to add more volume and it works fairly well if you use larger chunks of hair at a time. It teases a little bit without getting it too knotty or tangly looking so I suppose that is an uptick.

I really do like this comb over all, it is durable and good quality! Plus it is good to use to section out hair for curlers or styling.

the rat tail end is an excellent helper when unbraiding braids from your head. Even when the style micro braids need to be removed.

I've been looking for a nice tail comb for awhile, and this one's perfect. It has a very pointy end for making the perfect hair part. Others that I've seen like this are too rounded at the end and I can't part my hair with that. This comb is well made, and attractive looking, I imagine it will last me a long time.

I love rat-tail combs, but usually have to buy them at the salons or beauty supply houses because the ones in the grocery/discount stores rip through my hair and damage it! Unfortunately I always end up evidently breaking the rat-tail comb right at the base of the comb itself, so when I saw this one I thought it was worth a try. I really like how it glides through my hair - even when my hair is wet - and this design looks very sturdy! (Note: I don't 'back-comb' my hair, so I couldn't tell you if it works well for that - sorry!) So far I haven't seen any negatives to it so I would recommend it to anyone!
