I think in the information it should be noted that there is a 2 hour automatic shut off as the time is not given for this. It is a bit hotter than what I am used to in a heating pad but low is fine for me. I gave my son one and medium is good for him. Variety is the spice of life. Those who have seen it want one and are thrilled by the price and I gave them the internet address. [...]. Nice and large covers a large area of my body almost entire back as am small female. kudos.

this pad is:
impossible to use properly as the outer covering slips all over and causes the interior heating portion to melt and fuse together, thus rendering the whole thing permanently lumpy and useless.

comes unplugged no matter what.. something funky with the prongs

has a cord which is far too short to be useful. add this to the odd prongs and you have a heating pad which you can just barely situate properly and which falls right out of the plug when you finally relax.

is potentially the worst heating pad ever.

I should send it back. It is worthless. WA greens or Sunbeam heating pads are the only ones worth buying. Conair is worthless. Waste of money. I threw mine in the garbage

Comments about Conair Heating Pad, Moist Dry with Automatic Off, 1 ea:

I am not a bit pleased with this purchase. The heating pad does
warm nicely but it is stiff and does not confrom to my body where
I need it. My former heating pad which just quit working after
many, many years was much better than this one. It was a
Sunbeam. I bought two of these Con Airs but have only used
one. I was going to take the second one to our beach condo.
I would love to return it and exchange it for a Sunbeam which
they were out of when I ordered the two ConAirs. I would not
advise anyone to buy this product. I despise it. MW

I couldn't find my old heating pad so ordered this. It's a perfect replacement for what I had, and an even larger pad area. It has provided lots of comfort for me, and I love the shut off feature, so I can use at bedtime and not worry. I use the medium to high setting and find it's just right.

I use this daily because I have constant, unrelenting pain in the abdomen and back due to extensive, ulcerating Crohn's disease. The only reason I am buying a new one is due to the cord tearing slightly away from the pad, itself, which is not a flaw, but the inevitable result of two to three years of constant use of the pad on my stomach and the cord hanging down to the floor, but it makes it marginally unsafe. My pad gets warm to very hot, depending on setting, and turns itself off after two hours.
