Extremely compact hairsetter that is perfect for me with somewhat thinning hair. It is instantly hot and works very well... I have owned 3 other kinds of setters over the years and this is the best - takes up NO room to store and will be perfect to pack on trips!!
(this setter might not be good though for someone with super thick heavy long hair)

Takes a while for the rollers to actually heat up and then they cool down fairly quickly but they work as well as much more expensive rollers. I leave the rollers in my hair as long as possible and that tends to help with the curl.

Great hot rollers, one set of four are sorta small, so I purchased another and switched out the four small and now have a nice set. Awesome compact little case that is great for travel. I have really long hair and a body perm so these rollers make an awesome curl that lasts well into the second day. Loved so much I purchased for other family as gifts for the holidays because of the great price. Highly recommend!!

This was just what I wanted. Although the curlers aren't jumbo, as some reviewers were disappointed they weren't, they were perfect for my hair. They do not give you tight ringlets; rather loose medium curls. Probably not for very long or even medium long hair. The pins (not sure the word; they look like an over-sized bobby pin) that hold the curler in place didn't always hold perfectly, especially when the curlers were in a vertical position, but not really any different than any other curlers relying on those... Use those special claw things you can purchase if you're not happy... Keep in mind, they were trying to fit the whole thing into one small container for travel. Perfect number of curlers and the best thing is the grooves in the curlers themselves make them untangle and grip your hair great when you're putting them in. No papers needed and no learning curve!

The set would be easy to bring on trips. However, I don't use it because I have fine hair, and the rollers won't stay in. The pins don't hold the rollers, and the rollers slip off almost immediately,

From the description I thought the rollers would hold themselves in without a second piece. This would have been better for those who have some limits on her ability to reach above her head.

The shaple of the rollers are somewhat oval, not completely round, which makes it difficult to give hair a nice curl. I have a very fine hair and the rollers slip off constantly. Overall, not very happy with this product.

These rollers are great for getting a quick curl! I travel all the time with them. The size has been perfect for me and I have long hair that is thick.
