After having my Conair lighted magnifying mirror give up after 25+ years of use, I needed to find a replacement. Long story short, this Conair oval mirror was the best out of the 4 mirrors I had tried. So, it's a keeper! My main (mostly only) use is for tweezing my eyebrows. This mirror magnifies "just right" and provides just enough light to get the task done. I've only had this for about a month, so can't speak too much for durability of product... but it appears to be assembled well. It stands about 12-14" tall so it is bigger than I had expected... I'll probably make some sort of (fabric) dust cover for it so that it can stored in a closet when not in use (I have limited table space)...

Make sure the one you get has two working bulbs, one white and one blue, so the light the mirror puts out is different for each setting. The blue bulb on mine was out, so I asked for a new bulb or replacement mirror. [...]

I didn't realize how difficult it was leaning over a sink to see into a well lighted mirror in order to put on mascara or see closely for other reasons until I used a similar mirror in a hotel while on vacation. Now I'm spoiled and no more backaches from leaning over sinks!
