For the price of it you can do your on salon deep condition treatments ( it pays for its self with first treatment) It works wonderful for that on me. I air dry my curls, I would not recommend to dry natural curls this way (Heat produces Frizz). It shuts off constantly and it is poorly designed. It is better to save your money and buy a hooded dryer. I would only recommend it for quick (10 minutes or less) deep conditioning treatments. This item can not handle wet sets, large curlers, or a high heat setting. Conair should discontinue this item. Comments about Conair Soft Bonnet Hair Dryer, Model SB1, 1 ea: Do not purchase this item; you will be wasting your money. The bonnet is flimsy and will break if you adjust the fit. (I tried it with medium to large rollers and after struggling to fit the bonnet over my head, I could not adjust it, instead I had to remove it. By doing so, it tore and it could not be repaired. I tried to return it to the vendor, but was told they will not accept this item back.) I wish I could give this product a rating of zero, it sure deserves it. I use mine for deep conditioning, and I've NEVER had a problem with the hose length, hood size, or the dryer shutting off (and I've had mine for over a year). I have thick, curly hair that's LONG (it goes well past my waist), and the hood is more than large enough for my hair and head (and my head's not exactly small!). If you have a small head and you're worried about the hood staying on during use, you can always pull the drawstring to tighten it! For the price, this can't be beat. So, I bought it to deep condition my curly hair on a weekly basis. It is perfect for that. The hose extends easily, and the bonnet adjusts to the right fit with just a pull of a string.
