I have a lot of hair and had to twirl small amounts of hair, in the end I just ran my fingers through and ended up with frizzy ends, dull dry looking hair. Yes I did use a heat protectant spray. I tried all different levels of heat and still got awful looking hair. REVIEWS Reviewed by 21 customers Sort by Displaying reviews 1-10 Previous | Next » Pros

Comments about Conair Spiral Styler, 3/4" CD88SCS, 1 ea: A great product. I've owned one for 7 years, and it finally died. But I am replacing it with the same one. Forget about hot rollers, this is all you need.

Comments about Conair Spiral Styler, 3/4" CD88SCS, 1 ea: This curling iron is easy to use, it heats quickly, but produces a rather tight curl. I think it would be better if it were a larger barrelled iron. If you are looking for a tight ringlet curl this is the iron for you!

Cons Best Uses Comments about Conair Spiral Styler, 3/4" CD88SCS, 1 ea: A little tricky at first, due to the 8" iron and2" clip. It takes a few times to get the hang of it, but when you do... you will see amazing results. If your hair is fine, you don't need to turn the heat up full blast, and if you hold the hair in the curl for more than 4-5 seconds you WILL get 'Shirley-Temple' curls. This thing is powerful and does beautiful curls... just keep it easy till you get the hang of it and you will enjoy 'Farrah' hair!

Comments about Conair Spiral Styler, 3/4" CD88SCS, 1 ea: I always admired one of my coworkers hair so I finally asked her what she did to get it to look like it had natural ringlets. She told me about the Conair and brought it in for me to try it. After a brief couple of minutes my hair had the look that I have been wanting. I bought it and get many compliments on my hair now! Comments about Conair Spiral Styler, 3/4" CD88SCS, 1 ea: I had this one for years and accidentally left it at a hotel while on vacation so I bought a new one! Works fabulous! Comments about Conair Spiral Styler, 3/4" CD88SCS, 1 ea: Easy to use, I love the shorter clamp. It makes it much easier to release the curls without damaging them. It takes a bit longer to warm up than the advertised 60 seconds but that's not a big deal. Overall it's an improvement on a traditional curling iron if you want spiral curls. ![]() |
