Bad News, Good News. I'm over 60, very farsighted and can't see to put on eye makeup with or without my glasses on!! Neither listing nor package stated that the batteries were INCLUDED. It took me months to get to store with battery number that actually had batteries in stock. They cost over $8 and I felt like a fool when I finally opened the package and realized the mirror had batteries all along. But then the light didn't work. Here's the good news. I called Drugstore.com and they sent a replacement! The new one works fine. Ironically the light doesn't help all that much but I can see to tweeze and do eye makeup. Hurray!! Many Thanks

15X is too high of a magnification to be able to see anything. 10X is much much better. I cannot use this product.

The mirror is so concave you cannot see a decent reflection in it. The reflection is extremely distorted. This was a huge waste of my money; I cannot use the mirror for anything.

This is a very handy little mirror! Stays put, large image, not obtrusive. I use it in the bathroom but my husband keeps trying to swipe it for his workshop! Also looks nice and is not flimsy.

I really do not understand all of the bad reviews here. This is a great magnifying mirror for travel and home use. I've always used magnifying mirrors for applying eye makeup and plucking brows but, as I got older I eventually graduated to a 8x magnification. Last year I bought a 10x mirror and I thought that was fantastic so when I found this Conair 15x mirror I flipped!. I can see the tiniest brow hairs to easily remove them. I can almost see inside each pore! My eye makeup always looks neat and clean as I can see exactly where I'm applying it. The only so so feature is the light. It's not very strong but, I apply my makeup by the natural light of a window so I really don't use it. If you want a super high quality no distortion product you're going to pay ten times more. This little mirror is a terrific value. If you are having problems seeing in it perhaps 15x is too strong for you and you should try a lower magnification such as an 8x or 10x. I highly recommend this handy mirror.

This small mirror is great for people who are nearsighted. After determining the right distance
( this varies depending on individual prescription requirements for vision correction) to hold it from your face, it gives a clear, upclose veiw. I have severe visual problems and this works quite well for me. Great price for the quality. Most stronger, magnifying mirrors cost much more.
