This iron does not get as hot as the regular Conair irons. It heated up quickly, but did not curl very well. As soon I curled one piece and went to the next, the other piece was already sagging. I had high hopes since it is cordless but I'd rather use my corded iron and get better results. Unfortunately, returning this dud.

Thermacell was easy to install, started up on first click. Ready to go in a few minutes. Was as hot as my normal corded curling iron. We camp and now I can fix my hair without looking for an outlet.
