I can't resist a new curly hair product and so I can confidently say that this mousse beat them all...no matter how expensive the product. (I am ashamed to say how much I've spent on my hair!) I have long very curly hair. I am complimented NONSTOP on my hair when I do this routine: Wash with gentle shampoo; Condition with conditioner for curly hair; Rinse thoroughly; Gently brush hair out; Work a moderate to somewhat generous amount of mousse from roots to ends; Sit in front of my Holmes space heater (while surfing the net!); Occasionally VERY gently give my hair a little toss with my fingers. As you curly hairs girls know, you don't want to mess with them too much or you'll end up with a frizzy mess. Doing all of this ensures that my curls are like Rapunzel's.and everyone LOVES them. In a pinch, I'll air dry or sun-dry (on warm days) or blow dry if I'm in a hurry. But the original method gives the best results. Sorry for the super long review but I simply wanted to convey what a big fan I am of this product and to give hope and joy to all my curly haired sisters out there! I hope it's NEVER DISCONTINUED!!! I have a "fro" if I don't control it with this stuff. Sad that I can no longer find it locally, but happy that drugstore.com has a great price on it plus free shipping over $25!

I recommend it to anyone that has naturally curly hair. I have tried about every mousse imaginable on my hair from the most expensive to the cheapest. What's great about this mousse is that it's also very affordable. If you haven't tried it, you need to!

Once the mousse has dried on the hair, it moisturizes leaving your hair soft to the touch and does not leave any white flaky residue. It's perfect when you want great curls with bounce and doesn't crackle and create split/dead ends. When you wash your hair it's really soft as if conditioned. It seems that this product is not sold retail anymore, i haven't been able to acquire it locally, so purchasing via drugstore.com - Thank you DS.com!

I hAve also tried many more expensive products designed for curly hair and always come back to this mousse. I use a lot of it and style my hair a la Ouidad. I am so glad I happened upon this product!
