Comments about Coppertone Kids Pure & Simple Lotion, SPF 50, 8 oz:
I bought this Coppertone "Pure & Simple" at the same time I ordered some BabyGanics Cover Up Kids Sunscreen, The BabyGanics far outshines the Coppertone.
The Coppertone is very thick and difficult to rub in, and even when you think you've got it rubbed in, after getting wet, my kids' skin looks white and flaky...as if they're peeling from a sunburn, but it's the actul sunscreen peeling! I know the Zinc is great for sun protection, but other products that contain Zinc don't have this after effect.
We will use this bottle, but I won't order it again.
Comments about Coppertone Kids Pure & Simple Lotion, SPF 50, 8 oz:
I got some of this for my daughter who is very fair skinned and on swim team. She swims outdoors from 9:30 am to 11:30 am. She has been using this and it seems to protect her throughout practice. It is a bit hard to rub in and does leave a whitish cast at first so she puts it on before we leave for the pool. It "sinks in" by the time we get there.
Shake well before use. Adults and children 6 months of age and older: Apply evenly and liberally to all exposed areas before sun exposure. Ensure complete coverage. Reapply as needed or after towel drying, swimming, perspiring, or vigorous activity. Children under 6 months of age: Ask a doctor.
