It did seem to be very water resistant and one of the only choices without oxybenzone. I will probably continue using it but I did hear that titanium oxide may also have some hormonal impacts so I need to find out more about that. Comments about Coppertone Sensitive Skin Suncreen Lotion, SPF 50, 6 fl oz: This works just as well as the more expensive zinc based sunscreens - good for eczema prone skin and provides the best protection. Comments about Coppertone Sensitive Skin Suncreen Lotion, SPF 50, 6 fl oz: My dermatologist recommended this by name and brand because they've added enough Zinc Oxide to provide a physical barrier against the harmful rays, and they've changed the nature of the Zinc Oxide in such a way that you can rub it into your skin. It does take some time and effort to rub it in, but your skin and your life are definitely worth it! This product is far less expensive than the one my dermatologist recommended yet it lists the same ingredients. I have very fair and very sensitive skin and so far it has worked well for me, even on my face. Cons
Best Uses Comments about Coppertone Sensitive Skin Suncreen Lotion, SPF 50, 6 fl oz: I am extremely fair skinned (I do not tan at all) and my boyfriend has average skin that tans pretty easily and rarely burns. I put on this sunscreen and he put on a generic SPF 30. We then rode on the boat, walked about a mile on the beach, swam in the ocean for 2 hours and accidentally fell asleep on the beach for two hours. He ended up with terrible burn and I did not burn at all except for my toes (which I must've missed when applying). With any other sunscreen I would have been severely burned. I will only be buying this sunscreen from now on. Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend (2 of 2 customers found this review helpful) Was this review helpful? Chemical sunscreens, at most, only protect against UVB rays. Zinc Oxide is the ONLY physical sunscreen that does the job of protecting against all UV rays, both UVB and UVA. This product is incredible. It's non-whitening, non-greasy and doesn't have that awful chemical sunscreen smell. Granted, it does contain some chemical sunscreens, but the amounts are relatively low, and the amounts of the Zinc are higher, which is great for broad-spectrum protection. I highly recommend this product. Blue Lizard Sensitive and Badger also excellent physical suncreen products.
