Comments about Coppertone Sport Sunscreen, Clear Continuous Spray, SPF 50, 6 fl oz: I use this primarily when I golf. It is easy to apply (although your skin must be downwind from the container). It would not be as good for swimming or the beach if you are alone. Pros

Comments about Coppertone Sport Sunscreen, Clear Continuous Spray, SPF 50, 6 fl oz: This spray and sprays in general very convenient and fast, especially with kids. There is a film, but its not too bad. The down side is you don't get nearly as many applications for you money as you do with the lotions. He works on a dairy farm and often is sitting on a tractor plowing a field or outside doing something all day long. He has very fair skin yet hairy arms and this stuff is quick and easy enough that I don't have to nag every day to get him to wear it. He hasn't sweated it off or gotten burnt yet this summer. He does have to spray it on outside though, I do kind of like to be able to breathe Comments about Coppertone Sport Sunscreen, Clear Continuous Spray, SPF 50, 6 fl oz: I bought this last summer and used it a lot... used the highest SPF I could find, and got horrendously burned every day. This was towards the end of the summer when I should not have gotten burned. I reapplied every 15 minutes or every time I felt like I was getting burned. Also, it left a horrible sticky film that I could not scrub off, with a strong loofah and tons of soap. It would not come off. The fumes were horrible when I applied it inside, I could not breathe... very disappointing as I do like the Coppertone products but I found the Neutrogena spray to work much better! Comments about Coppertone Sport Sunscreen, Clear Continuous Spray, SPF 50, 6 fl oz: I loved this product at first. I used it on a scuba vacation, and it was fantastic for reapplying while on the boat -- just spray down, and you're done. But by the end of the 10 days, after frequent use, I noticed that I was developing a rash in the places where I used it most (my back, especially, since it's hard to reach with normal sunscreen). I think all the reviews that noted that it leaves a film have a point -- it does leave a residue, and my skin itched madly for days after I figured it out and stopped using it. Never had the problem before or since. Comments about Coppertone Sport Sunscreen, Clear Continuous Spray, SPF 50, 6 fl oz: My favorite sunscreen! I play a lot of outdoor sports, so I really need something that won't run when I sweat (and I sweat a lot!). This stuff fits the bill. Plus, it's very easy to apply, dries quickly, and provides great protection against UV. I rarely get burned. Also, this one gets bonus points for having less of the harsh carcinogenic chemicals that other creamy sunscreens employ. Comments about Coppertone Sport Sunscreen, Clear Continuous Spray, SPF 50, 6 fl oz: The idea is good, but if you use it more than a few times you get this stiff sticky film coating on your skin, which does not come off with soap and water. You really have to scrub it with a wash cloth and soap to get it off. Otherwise, it prevents sunburns. Comments about Coppertone Sport Sunscreen, Clear Continuous Spray, SPF 50, 6 fl oz: My children and I used this product while at a water park. All three of us are fair skinned blondes. We reapplied the product twice and we did not get a speck of sunburn on our skin. Apply this product outdoors and away from other people. It does smell, but works incredibly well. I'm ordering my second can now. Comments about Coppertone Sport Sunscreen, Clear Continuous Spray, SPF 50, 6 fl oz: Very convenient product -- it is true that you don't need to rub it in with your hands -- just spray and you're done. However, two drawbacks: 1) The smell is overwhelming. Same smell as regular product, just much stronger. I applied it in my small bathroom and coughed when I inhaled it. I recommend applying it outside. 2) Once it's applied, it has a sticky feeling on your skin. I don't really care about this because I apply it before running and it showers off after my run. But it might be annoying if you applied it in the morning or afternoon and you weren't planning to shower until later that day or the next morning. |
