This is a fine option for light UVA/B sun protection. The texture is about the same as a standard hand lotion except that it doesn't "rub in" in the same way. I consider that to be a positive rather than a negative aspect. It is NOT at all sticky, though, it just has less slip than a regular h&b lotion. It is light, and probably requires reapplication every 60 to 90 minutes, more often if you're sweating profusely (as in playing a sport) or swimming. I don't use this on my face; it claims to not clog pores, but I have chronic, moderate-to-severe facial acne and this most certainly did give me minor breakouts that took 5 to 7 days to clear up. My daughter, who has only the mildest acne, though, has no problems with it at all. Keep in mind that it IS a chemical-based sunscreen, so if you have very sensitive skin and/or use it while you are perspiring heavily it MIGHT sting your skin and your eyes a bit.
With lots of experience with skin cancer I am a daily user of this. The oil-free part of it keeps me from clogging my pores and creating another problem to treat.
I use it as a daily skin cream. I appreciate the sun protection, but even more the fact that while it protects my skin, it is also hypoallergenic and fragrance free. It also rubs in well. I ordered it because I had difficulty finding it locally. Also when the rains begin, the sun screens in the stores disappear, and I use sun screen all year around.
Apply evenly and liberally to all exposed areas before sun exposure. Ensure complete coverage. Reapply as needed or after towel drying, swimming, perspiring, or vigorous activity.
