As long as the sunblock doesn't leave me with balled up bits of sunscreen, and it can prevent me from burning/tanning I'm good. I have not tried this sunblock on my face.

Pros: I like how this sunscreen doesn't have a heavy smell. It does have a smell, but it doesn't bother me and doesn't leave me smelling like a bottle of sunscreen. I also like how I haven't burned from wearing it, and it doesn't feel heavy on my skin. non-leaky bottle. doesn't leave you with a white cast.

Cons: This sunscreen is thicker, so it is more difficult to blend into all parts of the body. so you have to dot it around and then blend. This sunscreen also tends to rub off to my jewelry even when I wait for it to dry. The packaging gets the product to bunch up at the opening, and it hardens, which bothers me.

I really miss the old Coppertone. It had that classic scent that smelled like summer. This stuff smells icky, like calamine lotion and mint -- ugh. Worse, as another reviewer also mentioned, it provides poor protection. I started to burn pretty quickly with this, despite the allegedly high SPF. Coppertone, take a cue from "New Coke" - don't try to fix a product that wasn't broken! Until they bring back the old version, I'll just buy a store brand -- note that I *hate* using store brands.

Comments about Coppertone Ultra Guard Sunscreen Lotion, SPF 70, 8 fl oz:

My facial creams all have sunscreens in them. I continue to buy this cream for the rest of the body. I use this product daily on my arms, neck, and legs, and any other exposed skin. I am leary of products with too much zinc oxide as they cause a bluish cast on darker skin. This product absorbs well and leaves no visible residue.

Why the product I received has a different color of bottle from the picture on above? Did Coppertone change to a new look? Why it is not updated in your website??? Or I got a fake one from Drugstore?

We have used this for two days in a row at peak sun time while playing in the water for hours. No sunburn for me or either of my kids. I like this one because it doesn't feel heavy and oily to me. Just follow the label and reapply when you should. I am buying another bottle of this right now, we plan to spend alot of time at the beach this summer.

I do long bike rides each day - tried several sunscreens - this one has adequate protection for a whole day, applies easily, no problem getting it out of the bottle, does not splash when applied, and the 8 oz container is the perfect size. Also use it on beach.

I use it for bicycling. Without sunscreen, bike touring would be impossible. This product is a good compromise between ease of application and protection. Higher SPF by Coppertone are too thick, too heavy. Why is it increasingly difficult to find this product? I wish Coppertone did not change the product line so often.
