I've used this for years, and it's always given me great sun protection. Never any issues with my skin not liking it. Also, it's the only one I've seen that doesn't smell horrible.

There are a lot of negative comments regarding allergic reactions; keep in mind that people are allergic to a lot of things - peanuts, strawberries etc and we aren't taking those off of the market. My son has extremely sensitive skin (really super bad eczema) and this doesn't bother him at all. I did get this in my daughters eyes once and yes it got a little red (I felt horrible) but it quickly went away and I learned my lesson. I have religiously used this product on both of my kids almost everyday, they have to wear it at daycare, and they have never burned. I wouldn't use anything else. Best sunscreen I have ever purchased.

I slathered this on my arms and broke out in HIVES! I never react to anything. Whatever chemicals are in this, they cannot possibly be safe for children; They're not even safe for adults.
The emergency room doctor told me to "discontinue use" of offending product "Water Babies Suncscreen Lotion, Pure and Simple 50 SPF"
Thank God I didn't put this on young children! I bought it for myself, thinking it would be safe for pregnant women in their first trimester, since it was marketed towards kids. I'm praying my baby doesn't get enough of the chemicals I absorbed to harm him or her. This Schering-Plough company has no shame! FDA needs to ban this nasty mixture.

If you're looking for sun protection, you can't get better than Water Babies! It's like wearing a blanket in the sun - you will NOT get burned. I have porcelain skin, I burn very easily. I think I also get sun poisoning (rashy splotchy looking skin when exposed for too long). This weekend I spent four hours at the beach - 10am-2pm - and did not get burned ANYWHERE I applied this stuff. I happened to miss some spots, and boy, is it obvious how great this stuff protects!!I have very sensitive skin, but I've never had a reaction to WaterBabies, and I've been using it for years. It looks like a lot of people have given this product bad reviews because they used it on their face. Personally, unless the packaging says: "For Face," I don't apply it to my face (a good rule of thumb). Ideally, the perfect sunblock could be used all over the body, but if you're willing to use something else on your face, you CANNOT BEAT the protection this product gives the rest of your body. I swear by it. Highly recommend!!

I bought this sunscreen for my children but amazingly, it worked well for me too. My sons and I got really burned and black eventhough we were out in the sun only 20 minutes. However, after applied this sunscreen, we didn't get burn and less black. Now our family can go out and have fun in the sun with no worries.

I love this product. I'm no baby, but Coppertone is something I've used for over 50 years. I live in the middle of the Arizona desert. It gets HOT here and the SUN is BRIGHT! I bike all year round, and if I don't wear sun block, I fry like an egg on the sidewalk. (and yes, you can fry and egg on the sidewalk here!) I love this stuff, it smells great and I've never had it run when I sweat, and when I'm riding in 98+ degree weather, believe me, I sweat. I use this on all exposed skin. I put it on about 15 minutes before I leave the house and I have no troubles with it at all. No eye irritation what so ever at any time.

I purchased two bottles to take to the beach and use on the entire family. Once you perspire a bit on the beach this product rolls into your eyes and its ON! My husband and I are police officers so I can tell you that when this product sweats into your eyes the effects are consistent with being sprayed by oleoresin capsicum (mace).
We all suffered burning and watery eyes for hours after use and irrigation and our kids eyes turned red.
This product is terrible and should certainly not be marketed toward use on babies, however, I may keep it in my cruiser in case I ever run out of mace...

I needed a sunblock to go for a walk at the park and this was the only one I could find at my friends house. It felt alright, not too greasy. Within a couple of hours in the sun I was scratching my whole entire upper body where I applied this lotion. It was crazy!! I was scratching myself until my skin turned red! When I got home, I took a shower and the itchiness was gone. My mother is also allergic to coppertone sunblocks. I don't think I would recommend their sunblocks for sensitive skin users.

I put this lotion on my 1 year old granddaughter & a few minutes later she had an allergic reaction. One side of her face turned fire red, including her nose and into the top of her head. Her 1 eye was watery and her nose started to run. I will never use this again on her.

Both my children had severe allergic reactions from this sunscreen. If I had done my research before buying it, I would have learned that it contains harsh chemicals which have even been linked to cancer. I find it hard to believe it is the "No. 1 recommended by pediatricians" as written on the bottle. I feel horrible for using this on my children.
