good stuff

A former Cosamin DS user.......this product is even better. I feel no joint pain before during or after strenuous activity since taking this product. Start daily as directed and then adjust to a maintenance dose that works for you. I am not old--mid 40s-- but hiking, jogging and running 5 ks, marathoning, and strenuous bicycle tours have started "taking their toll". This is the best joint product I have used to date. My ankles(and every other joint) feel better than when I was 20. Thanks Cosamin ASU for beating back those demons known as inflammatory joint markers.

Help for joint pain w/ NO stomach upset

Cosamine DS was recommended to me and I ordered this by mistake. An orthopedic surgeon recommended it to me for recovery from a lateral mensicus tear and arthritis in my knee and spine. I have taken other Glucosamine products but they did not help and caused a great deal of gastric distress. I have no problems with any gastric symptoms. It seems to be helping. I started taking this 2 weeks ago.

We noticed a difference right away with this product. My husband has had knee surgery and has torn rotator cuffs. Cosamin eased pain and discomfort within a few days. We will definitely reorder and continue with this supplement.

I have been taking Cosamin DS since my doctor recommended it following tibial plateau surgery 7 years ago. For the last couple years or so I had reduced the dose down to1 a day and things were fine. Recently I started getting a lot of knee pain and went for Xray and later an MRI. I started taking the full dose of ASU for the first time shortly after the Xray to see if it would help. A later MRI confirmed that there were definitely issues but my pain lever was reducing. A month later I had no more pain, ran out of the ASU and have been taking a full dose of the DS since I still had some. So far I have not had any reoccurence of the pain. I'll start reducing it again soon and see what happens. Could it have just been nature taking it's course and it took care of itself? Possible, but I have my doubts. I believe in these Cosamin products.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

The best joint compound I have found. Started off with 4 per day for 90 days, then 3 per day for 30 days, 2 per day for 30 days and am currently taking one per day and it is doing great. I am on my feet and climbing scaffolding all day long as a artist/muralist. My knees hurt so bad I could barely walk at the end of each day. After the first 90 days on the full dosage my pain was gone! I gradually reduced it down until I was at one per day. Some need to stay at 2 or more but you just test it and see. This is the best product ever and I have tried them all.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Takes a month or so of continued use to get the effect. Then it is amazing. I tried backing off first to 3 then 2. At 2 a bit of pain came back after a few days with the lower dosage. Now I just alternate 4, 3 and 2.

I didn't even take the required dose and my knees were sore. After sitting down, it took a while to get my knees back under me again.

I was told that it could cause gas but I was a regular one man band!
