DO NOT START OR STOP any medicine without doctor or pharmacist approval. Inform your doctor of any other medical conditions including fever, diarrhea, fluid buildup, very poor health, poor nutrition, nutrient or fat absorption problems, low levels of vitamin K or vitamin C in the blood, excessive fat in the stools, recent or current infection, tuberculosis, alcohol use, or if you have recently been injured, fallen, given birth, or had surgery. Inform your doctor if you have a history of lung, liver, kidney, or thyroid problems; yellowing of the skin or eyes; stomach or bowel problems (such as ulcer, bleeding, inflammation); heart problems (such as infection or heart failure); blood clots; blood problems (such as anemia, protein C deficiency, high red blood cell levels); blood vessel problems; high blood pressure; mental or mood problems; high cholesterol; arthritis; diabetes; cancer; alcohol abuse; allergies; pregnancy; or breast-feeding. USE OF COUMADIN 10mg IS NOT RECOMMENDED if you are unable to have routine blood clotting tests, or you are unable to follow your doctor's instructions properly and do not have someone to help you take your medicine.
