Love this nail file. Perfect for keeping my nails looking great. The grey side is coarse enough to get the nail length down while the pink side is fine enough to get a smooth finish. The pink side is also useful to smooth out ridges when used very gently. If you use it on your ridges, be careful to do it very minimally to not weaken your nails. I also use the edge of the file to file off small hang nails before they become a problem.
This nail file is 6" long and 3/4" wide. Would love a smaller version to carry in my purse (3" long X 1/2" wide would be perfect.
Because it is a ceramic file, treat it carefully as it can break if dropped.
Pro tip: File nails to desired length with the gray surface, then shape with the extra-fine pink surface. Nails should always be filed when dry to ensure smooth edges. Place file under the nail edge at a light angle. To clean simply rinse and let air dry completely.
