This pencil does brighten my brown eyes although I'm not sure how. It applies evenly and lasts long. My problem with it though is that while using it, the pencil does not retract and if I don't hold it tightly, The whole pencil will come out. It's ridiculous and a little piece of the pencil broke off the last time i used it. It works but annoyingly so.

Waste of money! While I'm not surprised to find it doesn't do what it claims, I am disappointed in the over all quality. It smudges, and fades throughout the day, and runs after all-day wear. The color is also grayish dull. Unlike most automatic pencil liners, this one doesn't stay even mildly sharp, nor does it stay out - it needs to be held in a specific manner so that it doesn't retract.
