Comments about CoverGirl Invisible Cream Concealer, Fair 115, .34 oz:

I saw this concealer in a magazine and it was said to be a certain movie star's "go to" concealer. Of course they showed a picture of the movie star on the red carpet with flawless skin and none-to-be-seen dark circles. I've always had purplish dark circles under my eyes and I've been looking for the best concealer (that is affordable) and have yet to find it. So I thought "Why not give it a shot?" So I bought it with excitement. When I tried it however... my excitement faded. It was no better than any concealer I have tried. It didn't cover sufficiently, the consistency was terrible: it looked cakey and settled into lines, and it was really shiny. I mean I've heard that light reflecting concealers are good for covering up dark circles... but this did not reflect light in the way that would hide dark circles, it actually drew attention to them. I mean it isn't totally horrible... but it isn't good either.

And so my quest for finding the concealer that works and yet is cheap continues... until I find my perfect drug store concealer I'll have to continue trekking to the mall and paying an arm and a leg for the MAC concealer....

Comments about CoverGirl Invisible Cream Concealer, Fair 115, .34 oz:

I LOVE this concealer!! Best from a drugstore I've ever used. I have very fair skin and it works with my skin tone perfectly. I used to use both a liquid foundation and powder, but now I just dab this on any problem areas, apply some powder and that's it! So much easier! I would also recommend not rubbing it in, but gently using your finger to 'tap' it. This stuff works like a charm and it well worth the money!!! Great stuff.

I use this every day because it conceals pimples like none other. It's all in the technique, though. Using the sponge applicator, apply a small dot to a pimple. Then ligtly TAP the makeup with your finger until it blends with your skin tone. Don't rub it in. It also helps to apply powder foundation before putting concealer on- it looks more even, and it stays longer.

Close to the most perfect concealer I've ever used. Disappears completely into skin without clinging to bags or wrinkles
