I love the regular formula of CoverGirl's Lash Blast, so I was excited to try the new 24 hour formula. However, it turned out to be the most expensive mascara I've ever bought because it made me lashes fall out to the point where I got a prescription for Latisse! They are finally growing back - so I can't recommend this 24 hour formula to anyone! If you're looking for long-wear, I would recommend the Lash Blast waterproof (which can be a little hard to remove) but not the 24 hour!

I was looking for a really super dark blue black mascara. L'Oreal had one in their H.I.P. collection but discontinued it over a year ago. I was hoping that this Cover Girl Lash Blast 24 Hr Mascara in blue/black would be a good replacement. But I was disappointed. It is not a true blue black it's just a nice dark blule (not even navy). As far as staying power it lasts all day and still looks fresh. So if you want a really long lasting mascara you will love this one. I like that feature for occasional use, however, it is extremely difficult to remove, even with my waterproof eye makeup remover. So this is something I would not wear often. And, of course, my main gripe is that it is simply not true to the shade they claim. I would not buy this again. If you are looking for a "true blue black" mascara this one is not it.

I have never really loved a mascara before. They were all sort of the same. I tried this on a whim fascinated by the 24hr promise and no mention of being waterproof and also by the fact that it came in blue-black (not that that really makes a difference). The first time I tried it I was impressed. My eyes were running because of the cold weather and this mascara DID NOT go ANYWHERE! I have yet to experience it running or falling.
This is my go to every day mascara. It doesn't clump and looks natural with a kick. Someone who wants super lashes for evening might not like it for that and it would be a better daytime mascara in that case. Perfect for me for anytime though! highly recommended!

When I saw that Cover Girl had put out a new mascara in Blue Black I was thrilled. I used to use the L'Oreal HIP mascara in blue black, however, it has been discontinued. I thought the Cover Girl 24 Hour Mascara shade in blue/black would be a similar shade. But, NO. It is nowhere near the same shade as the L'Oreal HIP blue/black. This is simply a blue mascara (you can't even call it navy). It is also extremely difficult to remove.. I had to use baby oil in order to remove it. My Almay non oily eye makeup remover could not do the job. If you are looking for a mascara with great staying power - this is it. As for myself, I would never buy this again.

I do like this mascara, it is harder to remove than others, you dont have to worry about it going anywhere once it is on, the brush is alittle to big for easy application.

I use this product by applying once, then using a clean lash brush to seperate lashes. I then apply a second coat after it dries and don't need to use the extra lash brush.
