From what I had read, I was prepared that the brush might be awkward to use and difficult to hold, but I don't find it to be. (I don't know what people are talking about.) I actually really like the compactness of the bristles. It goes on smoothly and evenly, and I seem to get less on my face and lids than with some other brushes.

I tried this in both the Waterproof and non-Waterprrof formulas. They're both pretty good, but prefer the Waterproof version. For one thing, it's amazingly long-lasting! If I don't clean it off at night, it will last for a few days. I'm not exagerating... a few days!
It's also quite smudge-resistant.

I'm able to get a nice "feathery" look that's mid-way between natural and dramatic. I think that you could probably get the "big, bold" effect they advertise by using several coats, but I never use more than two. Over-all, a good mascara, although I'm not sure if it's any better than CG's "Professional" mascara, which is much cheaper. Also, I wish the tube weren't quite so ugly!

I use this product everyday and it does as advertised. I personally love the large brush, handle, and container. If one puts this on CORRECTLY, there are no problems. I have long and full eyelashes so my lashes look great with this. I have no problems applying this to my bottom lashes either - just take your time! The only problem I had was that it was a little difficult to take off, but I found that Neutrogena Makeup remover or Avon's makeup remover worked really well to remove this. I don't get the raccoon eyes unless I end up sleeping with it on. It does not stay on your skin for days if you have the habit of washing your face everyday. Regardless, this is the best drugstore mascara I have ever tried.

I hardly ever use mascara because it irritates my eyes. Since this is waterproof, it doesn't bother me. Looks pretty good on my sparse eyelashes.

I use this product on a daily basis, although I think huge fun lashes are a daily "thing". This product is great because you get full super long lashes. Only drawback is that they do clump a bit, making it hard to remove at night. But with lashes all day looking great, its so worth it. Also, watch getting it on your lids, it can smear on your lids too, but as long as you apply it slowly and take your time you are good to go! I highly recommend after trying many MANY price points in the mascara brands out there.

THIS IS A GREAT MASCARA THE ONLY PROBLEM IS THAT IT HARD TO REMOVE.. EVEN THOUGH I WASH MY FACE ITS STILL ON.. NOW I UNDERSTAND WHY ITS WATER PROFF.. LOL THIS MASCARA IS THE BEST WATER PROFF MASCARA EVEN THOUGH ITS HARD TO COME OFF BUT STILL LOVE IT..

This is the best mascara I have ever used. The brush can be a little intimidating at first but after the first couple applications, it's like an old friend. I had no problem removing it when I was ready for it to come off. The only complaint I have is it takes a little longer to dry when you apply it so don't be too quick to blink but other than that, I am in love with this product.

great product but i dont like the waterproof formula as much as the regular one.. just goes on too gloopy..so smears and then veryyyy hard to get off at night...

I like innovative new concepts but this one is just not for practical use. The formula is good but it's the brush that sucks. The wand is huge making it difficult to use, it takes great technique not to get mascara all over you lid the first few times. The wand is very wide but the actual bristles themselves are kind of short and plastic. If you like to use it to curl your lashes backwards instead of using an eyelash curler you can forget about it. The bristles do not taper off at the ends like most mascaras do so you can also forget about using it on the inner eyelashes or your bottom lashes where lashes are naturally shorter. It' also very difficult to remove. Just regular soap and water (doesn't matter what soap you use) will not work! Must spend money on a GOOD eye makeup remover formula. Bottom line, if you have short lashes, or if you have or want curly lashes then THIS MASCARA IS NOT FOR YOU!

Have two little ones plus I work in a restaurant (think heat + sweat + oil) so I thought a water proof mascara would be perfect for me. This one is extra hard to remove! I tried Olay daily facials + Bliss lid & lash wash and it didn't take it off... even with rubbing (which is bad, I know). Hated the flakes that it left behind after attempted removal. On the plus side, it added volume and lengthened, separated, didn't clump, plus I went swimming with the kiddies (head above water at all times but was splashed, inevitably, several times; I didn't rub or wipe my face though, I just air dried) and the mascara stayed on! No smudging, no running, nothing! It was great! Bottom line: use it if you're going for water activities! For daily use, it's too much!
