This is the best affordable lipstick I have ever used. It isn't sticky or thick and goes on light like a lip balm. For me, most of the color lasted through meals, even soup. The color stays in place, not all over my teeth or feathering out over my face. It's great not having to obsess about reapplying the color every few minutes.
Lip perfection claims to leave your lips in better condition after 7 days. I stopped using my regular lip balm and just used the lip perfection for 7 days. My lips are in great condition, even with out the lip balm, my lips are soft and plump. The color is true, what's in the tube is what you get. My only criticism are the names they use for the colors. The two colors I am using are called "Hypnotic" and "Rich". The names are too abstract and do not make any sense. The names need to be more descriptive of the actual color. Hypnotic is actually a mocha brown and "Rich" is sort of a dark sunset coral. Brown I like but the coral, while pretty for some, is a little too orange for my personal taste. Overall, though, after years of looking I finally found a lipstick I can use everyday that feels comfortable, I don't have to constantly worry about reapplying and looks great.

I received 2 CoverGirl Lip Perfection Lipsticks as full size samples,and I must say Covergirl was spot on with this lipstick.Im more of a lipgloss type of girl,but really love Covergirl so I couldn't wait to try these out.I chose Hypnotic (220) & Rich (295) and applied the Hypnotic color first.My lips get very dry in the winter months and after applying it when I put my makeup on in the morning,I honestly couldn't believe that the color matched so perfectly.I them rubbed my lips together and blotted my lips on a napkin-and guess what? Not one tiny bit of the color came off onto it.I wore it all day long,and after I got home 8 hours later,it was still on my lips.It doesnt stain your lips & you can easily remove it,but you wont be pulling out the mirror anytime soon to reapply it. I love that my lips have actually become super soft from using it everyday-even from the first time I applied it,it made my lips moisturized and continues to work even after you take it off.I can't say one bad thing about Covergirl's new lipstick.It does everything it says it will do and more! The price is great and worth every penny in my opinion.

I purchased this product in a couple of colors and right now am using Hypnotic.

This product is supposed to improve the condition of your lips in 7 days. I'm on day 3.

So far I have to say the product goes on smooth, doesn't smell or taste bad and the color is relatively true to the tube base (not necessarily what it appears on the website).

However I find the product does seem to dry out after a period of time and seems to enhance the visability of the lines in the lip as a result. In addition, I find my lips to feel dryer after removal (I only wear it while at work and remove when I get home).

So as a regular lipstick I'd say this is ok, just need to reapply when it wears off and dries out. As for delivering what it promises (better condition lips in 7 days) I have my doubts but will stick with it for the 7 days and report back.
