Comments about CoverGirl Natureluxe Foundation, Sandstone 325, 1 oz:

When I first tried this product, I was very excited. It is easy to use, has a smooth finish and great coverage without being too heavy. However, by mid-day I found that my skin was too shiny. Additionally, after three days of using this foundation, my skin broke out. I stopped using the foundation and re-started once my skin had cleared up, but the foundation, unfortunately, caused my skin to break out again.

I think this product would be great if you don't have blemish-prone skin or oily skin and you are willing to blot or re-apply powder throughout the day.

As a note of comparison for those who already use liquid foundation, I previously used the Body Shop's moisturizing liquid foundation. I found that this foundation the same coverage, but went on smoother and was not as heavy. However, I also found that this product caused my skin to look more oily and also caused break-outs.

I received a sample of this product as part of a BzzAgent campaign.

Comments about CoverGirl Natureluxe Foundation, Sandstone 325, 1 oz:

As a BzzAgent I received a free sample of the NatureLuxe foundation in Flax. For a lightweight foundation I think it's excellent! I'm so happy with it. I typically don't wear foundation because (1) I'm lazy, (2) my skin's not *that* bad and (3) in the past when I've tried foundation I just end up looking like.. I'm wearing foundation! And the luminosity of my natural skin is gone.

With the NatureLuxe foundation, the shade matched my skin perfectly and was creamy enough to still yield a natural-looking luminous glow. Great for sporting a natural but polished look.

I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 only because it is not an all natural/skin-nourishing foundation. Although, in saying that, I do have acne-prone skin and my skin did not react to having the foundation on my face all day, day after day.

I'm perfectly happy using it until I do find that 5 star foundation. :)

Just wanted to let all everyone know I'm a Bzz Agent and recently received a sample of Covergirl Natureluxe Silk Foundation. I can honestly say......I love it!!! Usually I stay away from foundation because it cakes up on my face but......The foundation goes on nice and smooth stays on like a powder not cakey and gave my skin a healthy glow. I tell you I love it and wouldn't use anything else.

Comments about CoverGirl Natureluxe Foundation, Sandstone 325, 1 oz:

I have always been scared of liquid foundation. I have oily skin, and even though I follow a great regimen, liquids always seemed too dense and difficult. Also, working in retail, I tend to see people often who are wearing caked on, heavy makeup. That is not me- I use powder because it takes two seconds and you can barely tell it's there. When I got the sample of the NatureLuxe foundation, I got online and found as many tutorials as I could. I used a brush instead of a sponge, I buffed the color out into my hairline, and I let it set. It was super easy. I was actually surprised at how good it felt on my face, and how fast it was to put on. Unfortunately, I chose a color that ended up being a little dark, so I will have to go shopping for another color, but I think I liked it enough to purchase it again.

The foundation felt soft and did a great job evening out my skin tone (except for the fact that I looked a little bronzed). By the end of the day, I felt like the foundation and my oily skin were starting to clash. As a first-timer, I didn't think about things like blotting, or re-powdering throughout the day. Next time, I will do those things and see what happens. I definitely felt confident about my skin, which is the best thing a make-up can do.

I docked the foundation a star because of the end-of-the-day extreme need to wash my face, and also because the package is very small. I can't imagine this lasting as long as my powder does, which makes it more likely to be a special-event, going-out kind of makeup.

**I am a BzzAgent, and I received this product at no cost for review purposes.
