Natureluxe Gloss Balm contains a lightweight blend of mango, shea and other natural butters, used in place of heavier feeling emollients. Mango and shea butters are lighter and more luxurious-feeling than heavier, synthetic emollients. The formulation provides an occlusive barrier that helps protect lips against drying elements like the sun and wind.

I should wear lipstick but don't for some reason. My facorite to-date has been Berts Bees since it doesn't dry my lips out. This doesn't either and is a "real lipstick". Good job CG.

Sheer, SPF, and a great color payoff- what more can you ask for? I have been looking for a sheer lipstick/gloss/balm that still packs a color punch, but protects my lips. This is it! And I've tried them all. To compare a few- this is more colorful than Burt's Bees (both the pomegranate Original Balm and the new tinted balms); is sheerer, less shimmery and less cakey than Yes to Carrots; is sheerer and less cakey than Tarte Balms; and has better color and less shimmer than both Alba Tints and Burt's Bees skinny lip balms. Not to mention that this has the same or (in most cases) more SPF than any of those. I want protection, I want color that doesn't look like heavy lipstick, I want moisture, and I want staying power- all without stickiness. With Covergirl Natureluxe Gloss Balm, I've got ALL of those things! (and no, I don't work for them, I'm just an enthusiast!) Now if only they could do a few more colors that weren't so heavy on the shimmer...
