First of all the color in the tube was much more pink than the photo sample. In fact, very pink, and not very nude. The product dried out my lips, even under the gloss, and the color wore off in about two hours. I might try a more mauve shade, but I will toss the color I purchased (Sheerly Nude 295). Not sheer, not nude, not lasting. It could be I got old product. I think this is worth one more try, but I must say I was disappointed.

This product holds up very well. It lasts long and does not clump. The only thing I have to say is that it is more like a light peachy pink, rather than a nude and has a hint of shimmer. Other than that it is a perfect product for all-day wear.

I wasn't very trusting about the Cover Girl Outlast Double Lip Shine. I'd tried pretty much all the long lasting lipsticks/shines and most wore off or irritated my lips or both and ended up the trash.
I was so pleasantly surprised when I tried this product. The color went on smoothly and the gloss filled in those little crease lines we get as we "mature". The most amazing thing is that it REALLY stayed on- I left it on one day overnight and it was still there in the morning! And no drying, irritation, or flaking. I use lip colors from the broad spectrum of brands- from Lorac, Stila, and Lancome, to Revlon and Maybelline, and I am definitely sold on this product. I look forward to purchasing colors for winter.
