I have purchased several of these lipstains, almost every color. These colors are true, if it is red,,, it is bright red and so on. I usually try to use a colorless gloss over top as I have found using this daily ,, all day long feels a bit dry on my lips. I have received compliments already on several different colors. Great to wear after gym.

Omg i finally found the best mascara forme!! I have tried so many brands & they either flake, give u racoon eyes, hard to wash off (even w/eye make up remover), dont separate eyelashes, or the coating is too heavy or too light. But this one is perfect and does everything all other mascaras couldnt do for me. I love the brush too. I hope they dont discontinue it.

I bought this after a friend noted that she had bought this item and an expensive department store lipstain and that they were virtually identical. I love, love, love this lipstain. I have very pale but full lips, and using this lipstain allows me to have some lasting lipcolor that doesn't easily wear off. This product works better if you don't have dry lips and/or if you exfoliate your lips first (use your toothbrush--gently!). You can apply gloss, balm, or lipstick over it for more moisture and shine (this product alone is very matte).
I have cinnamon smile, and I have fair skin, blue eyes, auburn hair--good color match for me--not too dark, not too brown, not orange-y at all.

Very good value!

Cinnamon is a great color - a little darker than nude. Lasts longer than lipstick alone, but only lasted a few hours, and definitely does not last through a meal. Looks nice while it lasts though.

My-o-my... I FINALLY found something that looks great AND my man likes to see it on me AND the best part, he loves kissing me now, even if my lips have color on them!!
He use to complain about my lip stick getting on everything (tip - if you lick your glass/cup, etc. when no one's looking less lip stick will stick on the glass) but for the FIRST time in 18 years he loves kissing me WITH color on my lips! He bought me this yesterday for $8+ in a drug store a few miles from home. I tried to tell him Drugstore.com would cost less but he said I was worth it. Awww ... ;-)
I'm going to stock up on this just in case we are the last two people left on Earth - I'll still wanna' look nice AND I'll still want to be kissable.

The cinnamon smile is definitely the more 'natural' of all the shades available. Watch out for just how DARK it can look,though!! I couldn't get it even on my lips so I kept applying more layers. In order to get it even across both upper and lower lip I ended up with a really dark brick red. Not happy. I wanted a nude terra cotta. I don't see how that's possible with the blotchiness of the application. It's like it just doesn't want to stick to some areas of the lip. So you have to keep going back and dotting and filling in.

On the other hand, once left on for ten minutes and then gently blotted, it does leave a nice "I just ate ten cherry lollipops" lip stain. I kinda like it. Especially with a nice slick lip gloss over top.

I would never bother with this on a daily basis. Too much hassle. But it'd be a nice going-out type treat-- if you have the time to let several layers sit on your lips and keep going back to touch it up to get it right.

This IS a lip STAIN, not a lipstick or lipgloss. It's true, it's kind of like a magic marker for your lips; I don't have a problem with that.
The color lasts as long as the outer layers of skin cells on your lips. Like using sunless tanning products, this works best if you exfoliate first. I rub my lips with a damp washcloth, let them dry a minute, then color my lips, and it lasts at least 8 hours.
The Cinnamon Smile is my favorite of the colors. I can put on one light coat for a natural look, a heavier application for a darker look. Once it's set, I put on lip gloss, which I have to reapply during the day like any lipstick.
Someone said it's hard to put on your upper lip?? I can't picture how that's possible.

Someone said the nars brand is better, but - at $24-$28 for nars, I'm not going to buy that one to compare!

Uneven application, not good for full coverage, definitely not long lasting like others i've tried. if anything, it's good for underneath lip gloss but overall, very disappointing.
