I don't know what I was expecting from this product but I was surprised that it's literally just a lip marker. It works fine and the color was nice. It definitely gives you that lip stain look. I just felt silly using a marker on my lips.

This product is wonderful! I don't understand why people are giving it bad ratings, unless they aren't using it quite right... I honestly use this every single day, about twice a day.

The best way to use it that I've found is really easy, and makes it last for about 6 hours. In winter when my lips get a little dry/flaky, I like to use a lip buffer first, and then wipe it off. Next, I outline my lips in the Outlast Lipstain, and then fill it in. Last, I put on a lip balm after allowing the stain to soak in for 10 seconds.

I use it before class (doing the whole routine), and touch up a little before work, and it keeps my mouth looking natural, pretty pink all day! I think the lip balm on top keeps me from licking/eating the stain, so maybe people who think this product doesn't last should try that.... Again, LOVE this product!

I really like this product, It does wear off after a few hours but I use it to enhance color only--the color is close to my own lip color, just more intense. This is not the product to use if you want a dramatic look but it's a great everyday product.

I go to work in the morning not wanting to worry about re-applying lipstick every hour. This product definately does not stay on. I use CG Outlast lipstick, and it's wonderful. it stays on all day. The Lipstain was off in 30 minutes.

Loved the idea & was excited to try, so I bought three different colors. Unfortunately, the colors are not what you would expect by looking at the cap or sample, each one had an unexpected boldness & a strange hue. Would be better with more natural tones that would "enhance" lip color without looking so fake. Even with exfoliation prior to use, the coverage was uneven. For now I will stick with using a lip liner over the entire lip and adding just a smidge of clear gloss over that. It lasts longer & looks more natural than anything else I've tried; plus guys don't get turned-off my it:)

I have been waiting for this product all my life! In fact, I already had it invented in my mind ... I was just waiting for someone to come along to produce it! You see, I have never been able to wear lipstick. NEVER! And I'm 54 years old! I don't know what it is. First of all, my lips are addicted to Chapstick and I need to apply it dozens and dozens of times a day. When I wear lipstick, the feeling immediately "bugs" me ... feels like I have to be careful not to get it on my teeth, have to be careful not to lick my lips, have to be careful not to kiss anyone, etc. And applying Chapstick with regular lipstick just makes a mess. As I've always said, "I wish someone would just come up with a color that actually STAINS/COLORS my lips, like a Magic Marker, and then I could put on Chapstick all day long with no mess, no bother and I would still have color to my lips!" And FINALLY, someone did! I couldn't be happier! Yay! For the first time in my life, my lips have color (I've already bought three shades and I love them all!), I can apply Chapstick immediately (that's how fast it dries) and the color stays on all day long! It really does! I just couldn't be happier! And I can't recommend this product more highly!

In trying to balance out my maniacal ranting, I wanted to find one "con," and I finally did ... the name of the color is only written on the plastic protective covering, so when you remove that to use the lipstain, you'll no longer have any idea what color it is. Not a problem for someone who only buys one shade, but for me, who already has three, it's a bit frustrating ...

I bought three of these, and Teasing Blush is more colorful than I'd expect a color named blush to be. It's more like a strawberry. It's a very pretty color, tastes very nice, and stays on longer than regular lipstick.
I don't think it could be worn comfortably without a gloss or moisturizer over it, and that tends to make it come off more quickly. Oh well.
My main wish is that this line had several colors that are softer than those available.

I think the product itself is brilliant. It goes on with a felt-tip pen like applicator so you can be very precise. It lasts from breastkfast until lunch and has a pleasant taste and a not-too-dry feel. But this color was way too bright for me. I was looking for a more neutral shade that I could wear alone or with lipgloss over it for a little punch. I've found myself layering lipstick over it to tone down the brightness.

I still love the product, but have found the "Cinnamon" color works better for me. (After three attempts at trying to find that color, I finally realized the number on the bottom corresponds to the name.)

I'll wear it but the color isn't perfect. I do, however, think it's a terrific product.

I did not like this product at all!! I put it on & waited about 15 min. for it to dry. Then I took a drink of water. The stain came off with the water & stained my finger when I wiped a drop of water away. It did not "outlast" any long-wearing lip color.
