It doesn't go smoothly, the only thing this will be useful for is as a lip liner, other than that is a wasted of money. I try to use in my whole lips and it looked like I literally used a Crayola marker, or I was eating a Popsicle.

The stain doesn't last a really long time, but is good for several hours. I use it instead of a lip liner and all over my lips as a base color, then use tinted lip moisturizer on top. Does the job and looks nice without drying my lips. It does tend to dry or evaporate in the applicator, so one tube doesn't last very long, but it's not expensive.

I am a big fan of the other Cover Girl Outlast products, and couldn't wait to try these lipstains. I bought two, and ended up feeling like it was a total waste of money. The color does not last at all.

I wanted a lip stain. A stain, you hear? This is just not a stain. The color is great and upon application it seems as though it's going to be awesome. But alas, it doesn't stain. If you ever by chance, lick your lips or basically have contact with anything, it's comin right off.
I guess if you want to apply it with additional products as well, you might have some luck, but I want the look and the simplicity of a stain and this product just didn't deliver. Bummer.

I own more lipsticks than Ulta. Sadly, I try many brands and they all have flaws. This product is not perfect, but a huge improvement for me. I have dry lips, and I was not pleased with recent long-lasting lipwear products because they were drying and irritating to my lips. With this product, I advise using a dab of balm or vaseline before application. Rub it in good and wipe away excess, then apply product very carefully. Fill in entire lips, pat with finger to get even, or dab with tissue. THEN the key is to apply something on top. I have tried a long wearing gloss, and even a sheer lipstick just to add some moisture to lips, not too much though. I am very happy with results and I am very picky. For touch-ups, I may just need a dab of the top coat periodically. Use make-up removing wipes or baby oil to remove stain from lips (and fingertips). For me, it's so well worth it.

You might have to try more than one color to find what looks good on you. Look for it on sale. Hoping they expand color selection. They have me hooked!

I recieved this product as part of a bzz campaign. Which means, they send me the product, I use it and then bzz about it - the good and the bad. I use this product almost everyday. I like the way it makes my lips feel mosturized. The stain lasts quite a long time, but not as long as advertised - however, nothing ever does. I find the color to be very true to the advertised color. The tube is also very easy to throw in your purse and use anywhere, anytime.

I did not like this product. The color was fairly close to the sample on-line (color #440), but the way it stained it made my lips look like I was drinking kool-aid. Just not impressed.
