First let me say my style is very natural. I wear a full face of makeup, but try to look as if I do not. I love brown mascara for this reason.

My lash count is about half what it was when I was younger. The tips are very light, as to appear nonexistent without mascara. I like volumizing mascara to 'fatten' each lash to make my own look more lush.

My first thought when I put on a single coat of this was... nice separation and definition, it seemed to curl my lashes a bit, but not the fattening affect that I usually wear.
I realized that claiming volume could be defined as making each lash show individually .... not necessarily making each fat.

Only two days of wearing it with only one coat, and I got 4 compliments on "you quit wearing mascara and your lashes are so beautiful without it!"
Now there is no greater compliment to me that I pulled off wearing makeup and made it look 'like just me'!

After about two weeks, I decided to try layering, and I must say, though it looks a wee bit less natural, it did do the fattening of each lash.
I learned the first coat is perfectly simplistic. It separates each individual lash beautifully! But it can also act as a primer, in building layers for a fatter, fluttery set of lashes, resembling falsies!!!

It never clumps your lashes together to give that 5 fat eyelash look. It never globs or clumps on the lash. Each additional coat goes on as neatly as the first, building even layers on the lash, and still not clumping them together. This mascara wasn't what I thought I wanted in a mascara, but I have found it is EXACTLY what I wanted!

If you want to see each of your lashes individually, and each colored and lengthened, this is the mascara for you!

It is brown mascara, which is hard to find since most are black.

Cover Girl is coming out with some really great products lately. This one has been around, but I like the brown mascara. Not everyone can wear black and brown seems hard to find. It looks more natural than black.

This is a so-so mascara to me. Nothing too special and not bad either. Good for a natural look.
