The product definitely has a scent, it smells EXACTLY like cold cream that you wear at night. Not a bad smell, but just FYI.I still MUCH prefer BareEscentuals "Mineral Veil" to this product. The CoverGirl Professional Loose Powder didn't really "dry up" my oily complexion when I went in for a touch-up, it still has a much too mosturizing formula for my tastes. It was a fine product for [$] but I love my BareMinerals so much that I think I'm going to continuing springing for it. It only takes a small amount of Mineral Veil for the job that a bunch of CV Loose Powder finishes.

Ehhh...The color is good, it controls oil....I dont like the finish, it wasnt matte, it kind of has a sheen to it. I used it with no foundation so maybe it is better with foundation. And talc isnt really good for sensitive skin, so if it gives you a reaction that is probably why....I wanted something a little more long lasting than my Physicians formula, but now realize that I like my Physicians formula...its more matte looking and no talc, Covergirl controlled the oil a little better....but the finish i just cannot get passed....I am gonna try it with foundation and see if it is a better finish....I hate to throw it away, but for [$] it was worth the try...

I bought this powder to go with the CG Ageless Foundation, since products from the same Co. go together well. I completely forgot about the Noxema smell. I'm not fond of that particular smell, so for me, this is a no go.

This powder is one of the best buys. It is clean, fresh and airy, looks very natural, doesn't build up or clog skin.
It is much cheaper than many other powders and does a better job than most.
Highly reccommend it!

this is the best powder I have ever used and I am 48 and have oily skin still..I love the slight smell..smells fresh and clean...I love the silky feel of this..I use it with classic ivory clean make-up from Covergirl a great match up....I have spent tons of money on powders and I am so pleased I finally found this....I HOPE THEY NEVER CHANGE OR DISCONTINUE THIS...does not irritate my sebsitive skin...Clinique does...

This is one of my go-to products that I'll buy again and again. I don't expect my powder to provide coverage (unlike the other reviewer)...that's what foundation and concealer are for! This stuff beats pressed powder in that it provides a more even, shine-free finish and lasts longer. I've never had a problem with it looking too "powdery" on my skin, unless I applied too much. Also, I don't have to buy this as frequently as I did when I used pressed powder. It lasts a lot longer (but make sure you wash the puff frequently). Also, since the puff rests in a separate compartment, rather than right on the powder itself, less bacteria and oil get in the powder than with a pressed powder compact.

This stuff is terrible! It has ZERO covering power and looks very powdery like on the skin. It does not blend into face well.
