I would recommend it for everyday use (at work, going out to lunch, etc.). Personally I experienced no problems with flaking. It gives a good natural finish (the brown shade). In addition it washes off quite easily without the struggle that comes with most waterproof mascaras. It does smudge if you wear it for extended length (16+ hours) but then again most mascaras tend to do this after extended wear. VS Most Liked Negative Review I used to use this ... It flakes off all during the day, and if you have a night that you don't wash it off before bed - YIKES! It's a scary site in the morning!! It's an extremely useful product for someone like me who likes an uncomplicated beauty routine -- i.e. I don't own an eye-makeup removing product. I can never find this product in a drugstore anymore and am always worried that it is being discontinued so I buy several at a time through Drugstore.com. I have a fairly "simple" style - 5 minute face...so this mascara is easy to apply and never clumps. I did have some issues with it flaking on my cheeks - but they easy wipe off. It never runs or smears, but it's not hard to get off like most waterproof mascaras. Comments about CoverGirl Professional Remarkable Mascara, Black Brown 210, 1 ea: This mascara is OK...i am not all about mascara i don't really care that much about lashes i am not as obsessed as most women are...but this mascara is not that great....it doesn't go on that good and it doesn't separate your lashes and it honestly doesn't even thicken them that good....its just not that great of a mascara....every mascara i have ever used i have ended up putting a eyebrow comb through them to brush them out anyways...i have never in my life used a good mascara.....
